  • Great pair of sunglasses
Color: Anchor Black Lens Color: Gray Polarized Lens
I recently purchased the Distil Union Maglock sunglasses and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their quality and innovative design. These sunglasses not only offer great value for the price but also come with some fantastic features that set them apart from other eyewear options. First and foremost, the fact that the sunglasses come with polarized lenses is a huge plus. The polarization effectively reduces glare and enhances clarity, making them perfect for outdoor activities, driving, or simply enjoying a sunny day. The lenses provided excellent protection against harmful UV rays, ensuring my eyes were shielded from potential damage. However, what truly makes the Maglock sunglasses stand out is their ingenious use of magnets. The temples of the sunglasses are equipped with small, yet strong magnets that enable them to securely attach to one another when not in use. This feature eliminates the common problem of misplacing or losing sunglasses. Whether you're taking a break indoors or simply hanging them around your neck, the magnets ensure they stay safely in place. I found this feature to be incredibly convenient and practical, especially when I didn't want to constantly worry about where I had left my sunglasses. In terms of design, they have a sleek and stylish appearance. The frames are well-crafted and fit comfortably on my face. The lightweight construction allowed me to wear them for extended periods without experiencing any discomfort. The sunglasses also provided a good amount of coverage, effectively shielding my eyes from all angles. Furthermore, the sunglasses come with a protective case that offers additional peace of mind when carrying them around. The case is compact and sturdy, providing adequate protection against accidental drops or scratches. It also includes a microfiber cleaning cloth, ensuring that I could keep the lenses clean and smudge-free at all times. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Distil Union Maglock sunglasses. They not only offer excellent value for the price but also boast impressive features. The polarized lenses, combined with the unique magnet system, make them a practical and convenient choice. If you're looking for a stylish pair of sunglasses that won't break the bank and are nearly impossible to misplace, I highly recommend giving the Maglock sunglasses a try. ... show more

  • Stay-put magnets, flexible frames. I haven't dropped yet!
Color: Anchor Black Lens Color: Gray Mirror Polarized Lens
I never buy sunglasses that are more than $10 because they get abused (and sometimes lost) so often. These were my first exception in years because they were advertised to not fall off your collar when you hang them off your shirt when they aren't on your face. I have dropped so many pairs that way, I figured if that was the one thing that made these sunglasses different then I still would save myself money in damaged sunnies. I helped back them through Kickstarter so I was still only taking a small risk on damaging expensive sunglasses. Worth it. I received my own pair, and I was so pleased! I was sad I hadn't backed for more pairs. My husband liked them, too, so I was afraid I'd have to hide them from him. Then I received an offer to purchase again at a discount for an honest review. Oh happy day! I could get my husband his own pair and I've always wanted to be one of those people! So I bought the gray for myself initially and now ordered a black pair for my husband. I thought they were not my most fashionable pair of glasses, being as they are a flat matte finish and neutral colored frames and lenses, but I have been complimented several times in them. I bought them for the magnets, and that it is still my favorite feature. I love "clipping" them onto my collar or pouch pocket and they stay there! I have not dropped them once. I had forgotten that they are also a flexible rubbery material (enter that flat matte texture frame) and you can gives them a little twist and flex and they don't get bent or break, so even if I did drop them, or hug someone while they are hung on my clothes, they survive. They are also supposed to be scratch resistant but I don't play that game... not even gonna try testing that. That said, they are the most durable and practical sunglasses I've owned. Oh, and polarized! Might not be a big deal for people who usually buy nice sunglasses, but it was an upgrade for me, for sure. I am hoping that they are strong enough to hold on a collar while I'm on a roller coaster; that's really my wish and what made me want to try them. Honest review for discounted purchase... I talk them up to my friends and I bought them again. Would do again. ... show more

  • Light weight and study
Color: Anchor Black Lens Color: Gray Polarized Lens
These are the best sunglasses I’ve had in a long time. The fact that the flex has saved them so many times whether they fall off and I step on them or they are on my head and hit something they have survived and been scratch free. The flexing also has helped with fitting on my big head. The magnets are nice because you can clip them to your sleeve or loop them through something and know they will be secure, shoot when I get home I put em on my fridge and can always find em thanks to that. ... show more

  • Amazing sunnies!
Color: Anchor Black Lens Color: Amber Polarized Lens
These glasses are awesome! So light and pliable, don’t have to worry about sitting on them or getting squished in a backpack. The maglock feature is as handy as can be. Interestingly the frame colour is advertised as black, but it’s more like a darker grey which is even better. As a person who can only use brown/amber lenses, the frame choices for sunglasses are usually limited to tortoise shell or black, so the Folly’s are a welcome colour variation. Buy them if you want a decent lightweight pair of sunglasses that you don’t have to baby. ... show more
