This was an awful and extremely dangerous oven. It was also not black, as pictured; more polarized or mirrored in appearance. This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS oven. It heated up to the desired temperature, but the door itself was also heated to the same temperature as the oven. Yes, the door, on the outside, was too hot to touch while the oven was on. This oven would be extremely dangerous to have around children. I am an adult and felt it was too dangerous to use or have in my house. Even the silver bar on the door was too hot to touch without a oven mitt. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS if you have children around who might touch the oven while it's on. Even if you don't have children, if you touched this oven door while the oven were on, you would get burned. I'm not sure how it is legal to sell or use this oven. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN. I rarely write reviews, but felt this product was dangerous - and that is why I am reviewing it. The only reason I can give it one star is because the seller promptly refunded my money within one day of initiating the return. ... show more

Cons: instructions are vague and sketchy at best, having to figure out different cooking options on my own. No instruction on how or where to hook electric cord to oven. It's perfect for BBQ island, with a matching look to 24" high stainless steel doors. The oven's performance is good enough for what I needed, what is most important to me was that it has 0-240 minute timer to prevent leaving it on accidentally. Also, direct sunlight was a problem for reading some type of digital display on other ovens, but not this one. This oven should not be used outside, but I'm using in an enclosed, unheated space. I love the look of the oven but when I opened it I thought that it was ridiculous that all of the glass was broken out of it. This product will be damaged in shipping.

    • Empava Products are terrible
I purchased this wall oven 2 months ago and just used it for the first time a few days ago. Something is wrong with the product and when I called Empava for support and to get help under the warranty, they let me know that their warranty covers PARTS ONLY and since they don't have a true service department, that I would have to hire an outside company (at my expense) to help troubleshoot the issue and install any parts that Empava sends out. That isn't a warranty and not the support that is expected when purchasing an appliance. I would go to another, more traditional manufacturer. ... show more
