A room is variable because there is a space without purpose. If the space is full of stuff, you cannot fully use it as a room. The space with the emptiness is the key of the Japanese lifestyle. The room must have an empty area just to accept the space itself. The mind to appreciate the emptiness “Kū” is what we want to deliver "Kan". Perfect for floor desk
Size: Rectangle (Japanese-Medium) Style: Standard Color: Natural
Very well made. Solid and sturdy. Perfect for my tiny house loft for a floor office. My only complaint is the edges are kind sharp when working on my laptop. Otherwise I love this and am so happy with it!

Nifty little floor table
Size: Rectangle (Japanese-Small) Style: Standard Color: White
I've entertained the idea of a folding floor table in my room for a while and decided to try this one. I got the smaller 23.6" table in whitewash and I'm very happy with it. Out of the box, it is weighty and substantial. The legs required more push to move than I expected, but it felt like it was because of sturdy construction. Wood grain has a pleasant touchfeel and looks quality; the color is a natural tone, like an ashy pale beige. Originally my plan was to keep it folded and take it out when I have company, but I like the look of it in my room so much that I'll fold it up only when I *don't* need it there. It doesn't take up too much room (that I don't have much of to spare), while still having enough space for me to do things on. It also gives me a surface for me to leave my bag or other items on so I don't clutter the rest of the room. Excited to put this table to use, be it working from home, relaxing with comics, or enjoying a drink/meal. I'm very glad Emoor makes this available to us folks outside of Japan. I'd definitely recommend them to friends or consider them again for something similar. Bonus is that this came quickly since they seem to have a distribution center in the States! ... show more

Amazing addition to my "floorffice"
Size: Rectangle (Japanese-Medium) Style: Standard Color: Natural
I work from home 100% and have been trying to split my time between sitting at my desk and sitting on the floor. The table I was using was too tall and too small (only 15x15"). This table is a game changer. First of all, it arrived FAST! And it is STURDY! It's the perfect size for working on my laptop with a second monitor panel. Also fits my external mouse, cup of coffee and a notebook. Just the right height to fit my legs under, and not too tall for typing (I'm 5' 4"). And it looks great -- very modern. It came assembled so all I had to do was take it out of the box and open the legs, which lock into place with a little click. This table, combined with a floor seat with back rest, complete my home "floorffice" ... show more

Beyond my expectations
Size: Round (Japanese-Small) Style: Standard Color: Walnut
I am so pleased with this table! It was exactly what I was looking for. This table is so sturdy and well built. Literally no assembly required. It’s the perfect height and folds down very compact. It’s not particularly light for its size but this is what makes it so sturdy and stable. We like to sit on the floor to eat, play board games and drink tea. This table is perfect for that. It will also be east to take camping! ... show more

Beautiful, easy to store, but scratches easily
Size: Round (Japanese-Small) Style: Standard Color: Walnut
Review Image by Melinda Baker Melinda Baker
The walnut color, size and shape is beautiful and perfect for my office space. Even storing it was a breeze since the springs on the leg are well made, but I’m really disappointed that even with one day of light use, it has significant scratches on the surface (I’ll attach photos of the scratches later). Not sure if I should return it. ... show more

If only I'd started with this!
Size: Rectangle (Japanese-Small) Style: Standard Color: White
Working from home in a small apartment meant that a big desk wasn't for me. So I ordered a small plastic foldable desk...and it lasted all of 5 weeks - oops. Understandably, after the debacle of what I am calling the 'rickety rickt', I was a bit wary of paying a lot for yet another foldable desk. But, this one did not disappoint - it's sturdy (more substantive than my wildest dreams), folds easily (with legs that lock in place), is a lovely color, and high enough for me to actually eat on...feeling the pull to order another so that many years down the line if this one breaks, I'll have a backup - :) ... show more

Love it.
Size: Rectangle (Japanese-Small) Style: Standard Color: Walnut
Love these little tables, which are designed by a Japanese company and assembled in SE Asia (Vietnam I think). They have quite sturdy and fold up easily, although some of the legs are easier to fold than others (but not difficult). It's not super thin when folded but that's acceptable since it does have sturdy round legs. I bought two of them, one to use most of the time and one to keep folded until needed. Great for putting food/drinks when watching movies on the couch and also can use it to place your joystick on for stability when gaming. It might be a bit low for some people's taste, and I would probably prefer if it were 1-2 inches higher, but it works for us. ... show more

Sitting on the floor for better health
Size: Rectangle (Japanese-Medium) Style: Standard Color: Walnut
I was sitting too much on the couch. Spending more time on the floor has helped mobility and joints. I sit on a buckwheat pillow while using this on the floor (or sometimes directly on the floor) while I eat there, journal, or watch TV. So good for us to have different methods and ways of sitting for optimum health. ... show more
