This is perfect at expanding the storage space on my desk. It's very easy to put together and not too big at all. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that it did come with scratches on some is the edges but don't really show since my printer slightly hangs over the edge.

This is made from Masonite so it has a very hard surface, which makes the paint chip easily. It’s also very thin which looks nice and is stronger than you’d think but not strong enough. Probably fine for an inkjet printer but definitely not steel framed laser printers. I got it because it’s the right dimensions for a small microwave but I can tell it won’t last. The way it assembles is a little loose and cheap. I get that a lot of the price is because it’s expensive to ship flat pack Masonite (it’s heavy and needs layers of packaging). And it is packaged well to prevent breakage. But a person would likely be better served spending an equal amount of money locally, either getting a hardware store to cut some wood that you screw together or going to that yellow and blue Scandinavian place where all $50 goes into the furniture. This is a $25 item with $25 shipping.

These go together well and hold decently heavy printers. I suggest changing the construction so the divided portion is the top section and not the bottom so that you have an extra level of support for your printer. The divided space is large enough to hold a ream of paper in each one. The height is not enough to hold 2 reams of paper on either section. With four areas that's not as much of a problem as it could be.
