I’ve now ordered 8 of these for family members and friends. They keep drinks cold for over 24 hours, come in a variety of colors, and are by far the easiest water bottles to clean! There are no small parts that you can’t reach to clean. No fighting to get beneath a spout that goes up and down. The closing cover means dust/bugs can’t access where your mouth touches. A huge bonus when I have it outside while doing yard work. It also has a very satisfying sip! It feels like you get a very full sip each time you use it. One of the cups began growing what looked like mildew on the spout. I wrote the manufacturer and sent pics. They responded almost immediately and sent a replacement lid right away. Ello Cooper stainless steel bottles One of the best designed stainless steel bottles. We’ve been testing and using this product on a daily basis for over a month now and so far so good. The Outside: The Ello Cooper Stainless Steel Water Bottle is aesthetically well-made, featuring a sleek design with various color options as well as various capacity sizes. The design includes a soft silicone spout and a one-touch locking flip lid, which adds to its modern appeal as well as providing added protection to the mouth spout. This lid is designed to keep the drink surface fully covered during transport, ensuring cleanliness and preventing spills. It’s definitely a terrific feature. As long as the lid/cap that secures the bottle is turned snug enough, and the locking flip lid is closed, there has been no leakage even when the bottle is turned upside down. Note: Not to overfill the bottle, maintaining a good level at approximately 90%-95% full. The integrated carry loop enhances its portability and style, making it suitable for both casual and active lifestyles. The Inside: The interior has the classic stainless steel appearance, its vacuum insulation keeps cold beverages cold for many hours, easily up to a day. We’ve been exclusively using the bottle to hold water only. Included is a durable straw made of silicone, designed for easy sipping. Another great feature is that we can elect to achieve a steady flow of water from the bottle without actually sipping, using a technique that involves tilting the bottle carefully above the mouth and drinking this way. Sizes: The Ello bottle comes in a variety of sizes. Picture of the handle for reference of what version I have. My water bottle journey hasn't been long. I started with a smaller Contigo with a similar cap and straw to this one but the straw wasn't pleasant to drink out of. Then I accidentally bought a Zojirushi thermos, it was described as a water bottle and I couldn't tell by looking at the cap that it wasn't for drinking out of, it also had a nonstick coating inside which. I used it for a while anyway but then I misplaced the lid. I have a Tiger bottle for hot drinks that has a spout and from that I knew I would prefer a straw. I can see where it won't be the most durable ever but I think it's good enough for my purposes. It's very very similar in appearance to Zulu chug bottle that my partner has. Same price point but that one has a rubber bottom. The straw is really perfect for me, it's easy to sip from, and being able to sip one handed is helping me with my water intake. I ordered with another product so it got sent in a box and didn't get dented. It does seem like it will dent when I drop it. My Contigo got scratched but never dented. The small detail of making the flip lid the same color as the bottle instead of clear is one of those silly things that doesn't matter but having more color in your day can bring drops of happiness. I love my "Figgy" purple and it looks great on my my desk matching my other accessories. I was really considering the trendy long straw kind but I do have instances of taking the bottle outside the house and needing to lay it sideways. This type seems more practical. The other top consideration was Wide Mouth with Flex Straw by Hydro Flask and that one costs more than twice as much as this one. For something durable that you use every day that's not a lot in the grand scheme. But it's also a just water bottle, which is an optional upgrade over like an $8 Nalgene.
