"PLENTY OF STORAGE: An air tight compartment," MY AIR TIGHT COMPARTMENT HAS LEAKED ALL THREE TIMES I HAVE USED THE KAYAK (THREE DAYS IN A ROW). THERE HAS BEEN SEVERAL GALLONS OF WATER IN THE AIR TIGHT COMPARTMENT AFTER TWO-THREE HOURS OF PADDLING. I DO NOT SEE AN OBVIOUS PUNCTURE, CRACK OR OPENING OF ANY TYPE. NONE OF THE SCREWS APPEAR TO HAVE SEALANT ON THEM. THE KAYAK ITSELF SEEMS PRETTY GOOD, EASY TO PADDLE AND STABLE BUT THE SERIOUS LEAKING FROM DAY 1 ON AN EXPENSIVE KAYAK..... I WILL UPDATE BASED ON THE SELLERS RESPONSE. THE SHIPPING PROCESS WAS OK AND DIDN'T SHOW ANY OBVIOUS DAMAGE TO THE PACKAGING. RESPONSE 1: THEY OFFERED TO SEND ADDITIONAL SCUPPER PLUGS TO DRAIN THE WATER FROM THE TOP OF THE KAYAK???????? I’m disappointed with this kayak. The kayak feels unstable (tried it in a lake with almost no waves). The seats are not comfortable and the middle seat seems as if it was made for 2 year old child. The dry storage leaked water inside and my phone got wet . For the price of this kayak I don’t think its worth it. ... show more

Great kayak overall for the price. Was very disappointed when the seat buckle broke the first use, the plastic seems to be very thin that holds tension on the straps holding the seat up so now I’m down to one seat... UPDATE: company replaced my seat
