  • Please read about Drain kit!
Size: 32" Style: Single Bowl Pattern Name: Sink + Bottom Grid + Drain
Pros: •Got this sink and it’s nice looking and fits great! •It came with a bottom drain grate to protect the bottom of the sink from scratches. Cons: •For the included drain kit: you can NOT use the drain kit if you want/have a garbage disposal in that sink. It will not fit if you have a garbage disposal. So, it will only fit, if you DON’T have a garbage disposal! It's an either/or. Unless you're buying a divided sink, there's no way, no adapters of any kind, that will let you use a garbage disposal with this unit with this sink. I found out the hard way. •It should slightly be angled/sloped more for better drainage. Otherwise, at times, especially on the sides, you have to help guide the food particles to the drain with your hand or water. •You need to maintain the sink by drying it with a microfiber towel after use, to avoid dry streaks and spots and keep it shiny. ... show more

  • Great to be able to access the drain
Size: 26" Style: Modern Pattern Name: Sink + Bottom Grid + Drain
We do not have a dishwasher so I use this several times a day. We had an old wrought iron sink. The cabinet is only 32 inches wide, so this was the perfect size. I like the contoured corners which make it easy to clean. It comes with a 3-inch basket that fits in the deep drain to catch food scraps. Lifts with a handle for easy cleaning. I love the wire rack. I place another container on the left side to wash my dishes in. I leave the drain completely open. I can actually drain cups and glasses on that side. The contractor goofed and had to put the faucet on the left side but it works fine. The water flows freely to the drain. ... show more

  • Read if you see RED (aka rust!)
Size: 32" Style: Single Bowl Pattern Name: Sink only
I normally don't post reviews, but thought this time it was warranted. We got our big, beautiful sink quickly and installed it yesterday with our new counters. I much prefer the function and size of a single bowl sink to the double it replaced. The offset drain is easily accessed when there are dishes in the sink, and it allowed us to keep our plumbing and garbage disposal where they were. It also allows for more useful storage under the sink. However, being somewhat flat on the bottom, water does pool a little. I like the modern look of the sink, but the slightly rounded interior corners are much easier to clean than the squared, sharper corners of our last sink. OK- here is the important part of the review: I was HUGELY disappointed to find the bottom of the sink covered in tiny pinpoint rust spots the morning after installation. I contacted the seller and Elkay with steam coming out of my ears! They both emailed/called me back immediately. Elkay customer service explained that the "rust" was not from the sink itself, but rather from bits of manufacturing dust/debris left in the sink. The flatter bottom of this particular sink contributes to the issue because water puddles do sit. They instructed me not to use steel wool or any sort of bleach products (which I don't), and scrub with a gentle powder cleanser and soft Scotchbrite type sponge. They also recommended drying the sink every evening or as often as I'd like. I did all of that and the spots were removed. They said it should get better over time. I hate the hassle, and wish copper would "go" with our new home (that was my MOST favorite sink material EVER!), but since I was going for a "look" along with function at a reasonable price point, this Elkay sink fits the bill. Plus, after the very positive interaction I just had with customer service, I am quite happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great sink for small spaces
Size: 19" Style: Single Bowl Pattern Name: Sink + Bottom Grid + Drain
It's a nice, relatively deep sink for a 5 ft counter top project. I used a delta bar sink faucet to maintain a smaller scale and undermounted the sink on an acacia butcher block slab from HD. I really like the deep drain with built in strainer basket and grate for rinsing/drying dishes. The sink is pretty quiet when water spray hits it too. I'll use elkay sinks in the future ... show more

  • Drains well, frees up space in the cabinet below.
Size: 32" Style: Single Bowl Pattern Name: Sink only
Great sink! It drains well when installed level, and the sound dampening panels work very well, even when using a high power sprayer. The tight radius corners look good, but are still easy to clean, unlike squared corners. The offset drain has been great. It's easier to rinse particles down the drain, because we don't end up "chasing" them around a centered drain with the sprayer--just sweep the opposite side of the sink a couple of times, and any particles run to the drain on their own. It also frees up a lot of cabinet space underneath, and doesn't divide that space down the center, unlike a center-mounted drain. Update after 6 months: We still love it. We've never seen a rust spot in this. Minor scratches, as to be expected in a metal sink without using an ugly metal grid. It's still very easy to keep clean. Added pictures--the one taken from above shows it at 6 months of use. Edit: the picture of the sink without the faucets visible was taken after 2 years of use. Still no complaints whatsoever. We have left metal pots in the sink overnight and have never seen any stains or signs of rust. ... show more

  • Excellent sink
Size: 32" Style: Single Bowl Pattern Name: Sink + Bottom Grid + Drain
Perfect for my laundry room. I wanted a bigger sink to wash our dogs. Exactly what I was hoping for. Great quality. I didn't think I'd use the rack at the bottom, but it is convenient to set stuff in the laundry sink to rinse and even leave to dry out. I just need to get a plastic liner to wash the dogs so their claws don't scratch the bottom. ... show more

  • Doesn't drain well
Size: 32" Style: Single Bowl Pattern Name: Sink + Bottom Grid + Drain
The sink is nice and big, but it's flat so it doesn't drain well. It has some groves that help a little bit. If I had to do it again, I would get one of the sinks that have a 1-inch slant towards the drain. I think they're 9 inches deep on one side and 10 inches deep on the other side.
