This screen is amazing in terms of portability. The "box" the screen is rolled up in is sturdy enough to be tied down on a car roof rack and the bag protects it from scuffs, dents and some weather (I don't think it's waterproof). It stores upright in my garage and takes no space at all when not in use. Rolling the screen up and down is really easy and it keeps it as flat as it needs to be. I live stream pinball tournaments and used it recently for local spectators and I'm very pleased how it came together. It's a bit on the pricey side but I guess you get what you pay for. ... show more

I'd opened it and started a product return in ten minutes. From the outside everything looks great. The carry bag and case look great. The casing has some flex but it felt reasonably solid. Inside though, is where everything falls apart. The product was broken before I even started (packaging was in perfect condition). Inside the case everything feels very lightweight and cheap to touch which was clearly evident in the pieces of plastic clattering around inside. The major broken part was all related to the screen retraction roller mechanism. So it required two people to get it back in the case. One to push the screen down and someone else to manually roll the screen in. Also, the screen does not stand upright but leans back a few degrees. I could've dealt with that if everything else worked. I found by lifting the feet from the back a tiny amount I could fairly easily get the screen vertical. However, I'm not sure over time how that would last, given the flex within the housing unit. That could have continued to bend out even further and eventually tear its rivets. The tension tabs worked well in principle and seemed to reduce wrinkling but one of the tabs was already torn and the tension cable was loose at that point. Again, not sure how long the others would have lasted after repeated use. In theory this is a great product. It's not too heavy. The screen fabric is fine. The case feels solid enough. The scissor mechanism in the back seemed like it would last. But the critical flaw is the cheap connections and the screen retraction roller. I would not recommend this product. ... show more

I was cautious to buy this given some of the 1-stars mentioning failing parts. However, I took a chance and bought it, with an extended warranty. I absolutely hate looking at televisions, especially when they are off. Reminds me of that black obelisk in the movie 2001, imposing and annoying. Sold the TV and bought a small projector I could hide away. I’d rather look at my books. This brings me to the fact my walls are less than perfect for a projector. Bumpy and off white and marks. I decided on buying a screen. Thought about a pulldown, but they could be a pain to mount, and kinda ugly to look at. Decided on a “pull up” version, and this measured out right to the location I wanted it, and was the perfect height. And as you can see by the photo it is very stealth when not in use. Screen pulls up and down easily with a comfy handle, rests at the top with a stop. Mounted a soundbar right on the wall behind it, feels like a movie theatre setup. I may go further and find some small decorative furniture piece to place in front of it to make it even more invisible. But for now I just love how I’ve “killed my TV” but still have the option to watch a movie once in a while or even zone out on YouTube or other streaming sites if the urge hits me. Beautiful picture, no wrinkles I can find, and it sets up and ticks away in seconds. Very happy. ... show more

Packs and unpacks quickly and easily. Screen is tight with no ripples, and is stable when in use. I would have liked a larger size, but once I realized that it was too late to return (and cumbersome given its size). I would recommend being sure of what size you wanted before you buy.
