9/19/2025 update: The dryer is still working well with no issues. However, the price has gone up three times (+10, +63, +12) since I bought it for a total increase of $85. Therefore, it is no longer the great value that I mentioned in the original review, but is more comparable to other models of this size/capacity based on the current price point. I still consider it to be a good choice since Amazon is still currently the seller of the item which is good and should result in less hassle/cost if a return or replacement becomes necessary within their 30-day return window. Original review: After looking at different brands and prices in the 2.60-cubic foot size, I decided to go with this Elevon brand (unit has Sustainova on it) as it seemed to represent the best value based on price and features compared to other brands of this size. I read a lot of reviews across the different brands and the negative reviews were mostly about the unit not lasting that long (less than a year, but sometimes, only for 2-3 months). Other issues people had were also found across other brands too. I personally don’t mind paying a premium price for a premium product, but was unable to conclude that higher priced versions were significantly better than the lower priced versions based on the reviews. One popular brand was more than double the price of this unit, and another popular brand was $100 more. I’m very impressed with its performance so far. It heats up very well and dries just as fast (if not faster) as a full-size dryer. The dryer drum measures about 22 inches in diameter with a depth of about 11.75 inches (unit weighs about 50 lbs). It surprisingly holds a good amount of clothes and is appropriate to pair with a portable washing machine (I’d say up to 18 lbs washing capacity). As far as performance, I dried 3 bath towels (30”x60”) in about 50 minutes on the hot setting. They came out fully dry without any dampness. Three sets of bed sheets (mattress, flat, pillow cases) dry in 25-30 minutes. Both of these items came out of a washing machine with a spin dry of 1,350 RPMs. If you have a full size top-load washer, drying time will probably be longer since their spin dry speed usually tops out around 800 RPMs. Overloading the dryer will also increase drying times since less hot air will be able to circulate around the clothes (the directions recommend not filling it more than half-full). On the noise level, I consider it to be above average. The blower motor/fan can be heard one or two rooms away when there is little to no background noise. I consider the noise to be comparable to a window air conditioner with the blower fan on low or medium. You’ll also likely hear clothes dropping in the tumbler while they’re still pretty wet. If you decide to vent the dryer to the outside (or to an indoor vent kit), you’ll need to rig something together to connect the exhaust hose as I could not find an exhaust hose that would fit the exhaust connector that came with the unit. The exhaust connector elbow has a round 3.35” diameter sleeve that fits perfectly onto the back of the dryer, but the other end of the elbow has an oval-type shape connector that measures 3.5”x2”. Most dryer exhaust hoses are 4” in diameter (a 3” hose is made, but it’s too small). I was able to locate a PVC end cap with a 3.375 inside diameter and a 4” outside diameter. I cut the end cap off, and then wrapped the inside with aluminum foil-backed tape to close that 0.025” gap so that it fits snugly onto the back of the dryer. If this is too much trouble, or another solution can’t be found, you can always use the exhaust connector it came with by itself and just point it in the direction you want the exhaust air to blow. I would have given this dryer 5 stars, but took a star off because the unit arrived heavily dented on the top. The outer box and Styrofoam packaging inside showed no sign of damage during transit so it was severely dented before it left the factory. I was going to send it back for a replacement, but did not want to go through the hassle and inconvenience of having to re-box it up and then schedule a pickup and wait for another unit to be sent out (the unit worked fine). Not sure if I would have incurred any charges since Amazon was the seller and shipper, but I did read a review on another brand where a customer needed to return a damaged dryer and the third-party seller charged the buyer a $110 return shipping fee. I have since taken the outer casing off the dryer and was able to hammer-out most of the dented area (it’s still noticeable, but doesn’t look as bad as before). I don’t know how long this unit will last, but if it does crap out in a few months or so, at least I didn’t pay a premium price for it.

Let me just start off by saying I typically do not write reviews. We are in the middle of a renovation and can’t use our washer and dryer in the house so this has been an absolute lifesaver to just have plugged into an outlet under the carport. Dries just like a regular dryer you just have to do like half loads. I even put a thin king comforter in there it’s tight, but it will dry it. I wish I found this when I was living in an apartment in my 20s.

Mine arrived in a box with no damage to it. I was prepping for a move so unboxed it after moving 3 weeks later. Since the box was pristine I didn't think much of it. Now that I've begun using it, I noticed horrible scraping sounds coming from it so examined it much closer. Using the sound to figure out where it was coming from I found that the Unit has been smashed on the front lower right causing it to grind against the drum. Its not a dent, the whole frame is slightly warped. this couldn't be from shipping since the box was undamaged when I recieved it. so it points to quality control problems. unfortunately Im now passed the 30-day return period so Im stuck with trying to figure out how I will take the front off, try to straighten/bend the metal front back into what I can only assume is the right shape. Otherwise it works as advertised. Poor QC, Good functionality. My caution would be to check it immediately upon recieving it EVEN if not damaged in shipping.

A good product, and it works so good! It's perfect for small load, and it gets the job done in a flash! It's perfect when I just need to dry my work clothes for the next day. You won't waste your money when you buy this dryer! But make sure you buy a dryer vent kit on the side.
