This fits the airtag exactly, no rattle. Very strong adhesive so make sure you put it where you want it the first time. It screws shut very secure/tight with a rubber seal so no worries about water/dirt intrusion. Best of all, it's discreet. Found some great hiding places on the ebikes and this vault blends right in. The red you see in the photos is just the adhesive backing you peel off before installing the vault. when installed all you see is generic matte dark greyish black. This product impressed me with its strong adhesive and effective sealing capabilities. It seems durable, though it hasn't been put to the test yet. The size is very appropriate for my needs. It's hard to find any fault with it - it's that good. I bought it for use with my carry-on luggage, and it attached smoothly to the interior after some minor adjustments. Mounted these in various heavy duty locations where weather exposure is inevitable. Inside dog show equipment and horse tack boxes, and hiking backpack. They work well and so far they have stood up to snow, freezing rain, heat and direct sun and lots of jarring and movement. Reception is clear and the air tags are securely affixed to items. I’ve been using these to hold AirTags on our vehicles for several months now. We recently upgraded, and though the holder held firmly (enough so that casual contact would not ever dislodge it), the adhesive did come off cleanly. We bought a set of 4 of these and have two AirTags. Two of these containers we have mounted in a not-easy-to-find place in our suitcases. Another is under the seat of an e-bike. They are super-sturdy and mount tightly to surfaces. There are not noticeable when against a black surface like the bottom of the bike seat. Water and dirt-proof. Really good quality. I have a ton of these on just about anything of value that can be lost or stolen. That is including in a boat, in the guts of an atv where it gets beat up and hot from the muffler, muddy, and submerged in water, and the underside of a daily driver. No leaks, no failures, no falloffs. The adhesive is heavy duty and sticks to just about any smooth-ish surface once clean and the seal that these use is quality. I have some lower-priced ones as well, I put those on things where it won't get wet and doesn't matter if they fall off, like in bags or center consoles. I have one that is hidden in my roll-on luggage, one hidden in my car, my purse and my laptop bag. These cases are very adhesive and inconspicuous. The top just takes a little twist to get on and off. I like knowing that they will be stuck where I left them and they are water proof. I haven't tried to remove one so I don't know yet if that will be a challenge. In my purse it just sits in a pocket not adhered to it.
