  • Sturdy travel for me...over 6' and 230#
Color: Black
Goods: easy to assemble. folds good at mid-handle bar to fit in car. pops right back to travel position easily. Basket is a MUST HAVE. works good with plenty of room and side pockets for small stuff and soda bottle. Brakes came adjusted. will hold in position somewhat with park brake on. brakes stop really good with full squeeze on grips OK stuff: got a gel pad for knee rest. if you use a lot, highly recommended. BEWARE: the tires are HARD and anything like a rock on sidewalk or even going over uneven floor with cause the handle bars to jerk. Not a problem once you get used to it, but recommend some slow trial runs over uneven ground before getting out much. OVERALL: works great for me and value was good. ... show more

  • Nice knee walker
Color: Black
We bought this when my wife broke her ankle and foot. It helped out alot around the house and if we had togo out somewhere. It's good quality and sturdy has a hand brake which she did use alot. The front bag was nice for her stuff and held quite a bit . The seat had enough cushion that it didnt bother her knee and was comfortable. The weight of it isnt bad, it is lighter than i thought it would be. It was easy to put together, and the handle bars fold down in case you would want to put it in a trunk of a car. If you want it to fold all the way down you will have to remove the seat which only takes a minute buy taking out a hand screw. When stearing it doesnt turn super far but enough to make a turn, i think it doesnt turn real tight so you dont tip it over. Sometimes she would have to pick up the back end in tight spaces. I would recommend it. Nice quality and nice price also. ... show more

  • Worked for what I needed, 4 1/2 stars
Color: Black
I received this item within 2 days. I broke my foot on a Friday and I needed it for our vacation on Monday. I used this scooter in San Francisco - yes with all of those hills. I felt secure enough on the smaller hills but would not trust the brakes on one of the bigger hills. The brakes work well enough to slow you down and help keep control of the vessel, NOT stop on a dime. The steering is easy to maneuver especially through a grocery store or through the office hallways, though it takes me about three adjustments to turn around in an elevator. I love the pack in front, I was able to carry water, snacks, items from my purse, sunscreen, and a few small stuffed animals. It will fit my laptop and notepad at work to and from meetings. It is easy to assemble and easily folds down for transportation in a medium size trunk. I only have two small gripes about this scooter 1) the tires are a hard plastic that have no give whatsoever. Meaning the tiniest rock/gravel, crack, or bump can make you lose control. Unless I was in the office on a smooth service I always had a death grip on the handlebars to ensure I maintain control in case I run over something and 2) the spring that you open and close to fold down the handlebars is becoming loose which could eventually lead to the insecure locking of the handlebars when upright. I check the spring mechanism regularly as I am riding so I do not lose the handlebars and do a face plant causing serious injury. *I also purchased a memory foam pillow for my knee and it was well worth it. I haven't tried the knee strip without it. Though with how much I have to use this I highly recommend the memory foam pad. ... show more

  • Perfect Knee Walker
Color: Black
This item has made a huge difference after the foot surgery, it has provided easy mobility and safe/secure mobility. The surgery left me none weight bearing for 6 weeks and without this device the next option would be crutches, and they are unstable, wobble, uncomfortable to use. This knee walker has been perfect and easy to use. It was simple to assemble, no tools required. You can also add device to the knee walker similar to a bicycle. Thank You ELENKER for a great piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Things to consider before purchase
Color: Black
I have a long history of ankle injuries and have typically relied on crutches for most of these incidents; I thought I'd give this scooter a try to help relieve stress from my other foot, but so far I have been disappointed--enough so to actually write a review. For reference, I am 5'9" and weight roughly 220lbs. While the product itself is well-constructed and the materials feel sturdy, there are severe limitations on what this product can actually do out in the wild. For one, this scooter can not turn very well at all and its design is focused on linear motion. As a result, if you live in tight-quarters space, you may find yourself having to back out of areas or make extremely awkward and drawn-out maneuvers. On the occasion I tried to turn around I found it much easier to dismount and physically move the scooter itself. Ironically, if you find yourself overturning, this product is extremely likely to tip over. More on this later. Additionally, this product, while perfect for open spaces, these areas must have very flat surfaces. It will run smoothly on flat concrete, wood floors, and the like, but as soon as you encounter anything rougher you may have serious issues. My driveway is particularly rough and once I tried to ride over it I found myself extremely unstable; the steering would respond to smallest divot or pebble, causing the scooter to either stop completely or abruptly shift the steering column. This is obviously dangerous if you are already injured. The basket itself is passable, but it does not actually secure to the product itself: it uses 2 keyhole mounts. This means if your load is off balance, the basket will likely detach; this is a hazard while moving, especially if shimmying due aforementioned terrain issues. The folding feature is lackluster at best and completely inconvenient at worst. For it to make any real difference, you probably would have to remove the knee rest. This, however, would be inconvenient, as it the knee rest is secured by a bolt; it would be doable, but it's not "get out of the car and go shopping" convenient and more akin to "let me get out and put this thing back together." These issues all coalesce into disaster under some common yet-specific circumstances, namely thresholds. Due to the issues with turning and the linear design of the product, if you encounter a threshold (for example, a door at the clinic) you MUST approach at a perpendicular angle. Otherwise you will A) not get over the threshold, or B) fall over. I've had this happen twice in two different threshold-related areas of my home. Encountering a threshold at a shallow angle might cause the wheels/steering column to turn sharply towards the threshold; this causes the scooter to "overturn" and can lead to you falling over. (Abrupt overturning also happens on rougher terrain). So if you don't have the space to line this scooter up perpendicular to the threshold, you better get ready for the consequences. The quick fix for this situation would be to actually lift the scooter over the threshold, but that also assumes you know the terrain or are paying close attention to the floor (if not, you might not know until the scooter suddenly stops or topples). I assume this will apply to area rugs as well. To be fair, despite these flaws, the scooter has many pros: Good for big spaces with flat/paved terrain +Wheels glide smoothly +Double brakes (rear wheel only) are convenient +Comes with a basket (separate costs $20 and up) +Cushy pad +Can double as a temporary seat or leg support +Nice price point +Kind of fun when under ideal circumstances The core negatives are as follows: -Very little maneuverability -Bulky and cumbersome despite "foldable" steering column -Dangerously unstable on uneven ground -Definitely NOT for tight spaces Its not a bad product, but you definitely should know its limitations before you purchase. ... show more
