  • A Fun Ride That Brought Back Great Memories A Fun Ride That Brought Back Great Memories
This longboard instantly took me back to my skating days. The moment I stepped on it, it felt familiar and comfortable, and I found myself enjoying it even more than I expected. Element has always been a trusted brand in the skateboarding world, and this board lives up to that reputation. I like the simple design. The wheels roll smoothly, the bearings are fast and quiet, and the overall ride quality is excellent. The deck has a nice amount of flex that helps absorb bumps without feeling unstable. It feels sturdy and trustworthy while still providing the smooth, relaxed ride you'd expect from a pintail longboard. As a complete board, it was ready to ride right out of the box and required very little adjustment. Whether cruising around the neighborhood, riding local paths, or just enjoying a casual skate session, it performs exactly as I hoped. For the price, I'm genuinely impressed with the quality and ride experience. It's also been a great way to introduce my kids to skating, which has made it even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a well-built longboard from a reputable brand that offers a smooth ride, quality components, and a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable cruiser or a way to rediscover their love of skating. ... show more

  • Quality longboard but damaged upon arrival
Element has been around forever, so I felt confident in the quality when ordering this longboard. It feels well made, sturdy, and durable, and the ride is smooth and comfortable. The deck has plenty of room for stability, making it fun for cruising and carving around. My only disappointment was that mine arrived with some damage, which was frustrating to see on an otherwise nice board. Aside from the shipping issue, the board itself seems like a quality product and performs well. No professional by any means here but even we can appreciate the fun ride it provides as a casual user. ... show more

  • Long Board, Very Well Made, Great Value
The moment I saw this it took me back to the days of riding a skateboard at my uncle's acreage. I got this for my grandchildren to ride at our house. It's a long board and made of wood and while it has some give it does not flex much to speak of. The wheels are excellent and the bearings also seem to be really good. It is a nice looking skateboard with plenty of deck. It would be a good board for beginners and more experienced riders It looks like so much fun when the kids are riding, I almost wish I were younger to join in. This is a very good value for the price. ... show more

  • Good Basic Skateboard Good Basic Skateboard
Got this for a grandson. Recalls the days of my youth when I used to skateboard. I always liked a long board. I liked some flex in my board, but I am not sure if the fiberglass flex boards are popular anymore. This board is wood and while it has some give it does not flex. I do like the wheels, they have good grip and precision bearings. The trucks are a little stiff for what I liked back in the day - we liked to make really sharp turns, not sure if this board can turn in a tight radius. It is a nice looking skateboard with plenty of deck. A good board for both beginners and experienced users. ... show more

  • Classic, lightweight, and functional longboard for Summer at the beach! Classic, lightweight, and functional longboard for Summer at the beach!
I got this board for my 11yo son who's already pretty comfortable on his penny board and standard skate deck. He's been wanting a longboard for cruising around bike paths and sidewalks near the beach, and this board has not disappointed on looks or performance. The trucks, wheels, deck, and grip tape all have a classic and stylish "Element" logo. The deck wood is straight (not warped) and looks well-made/pressed. It's not exactly a "long" board for my 6'1 / 175lb build, but it's definitely a "longboard" for my son. The max weight rating is 220lbs, so that should also be an indicator on target audience. My son has been having a blast with it, and the bearings are pretty dang decent for a factory prebuilt setup... he coasts for quite a while before having to continue pushing! When he's not riding it, the board is very light and easy to carry around under his arm or strapped into his skate backpack. Overall a GREAT build option with very, very low cost! I'm sure my 8yo will want one as soon as he's comfortable skating :) ... show more

  • Good entry-level parts, but the board deck is below standards Good entry-level parts, but the board deck is below standards
I received this skateboard with both ends poking out of it's factory carton and the shipping carton too! There was damage, just minor but enough damage to warrant a replacement. When I got the replacement it had the same issue, both ends of the board poking thru the factory's carton. The problem I've noticed getting these two boards is the factory is not doing anything to prevent the skateboard from rolling around inside it's carton. Interestingly each board had 1 wheel with this temporary hard plastic enclosure to keep the wheel from spinning, but the other 3 didn't have it, those wheels were able to roll around inside the carton. Why they chose to cover only one wheel (each time) makes no sense. So be prepared possibly to get your skateboard this way until (hopefully) the factory decides to change their packaging methods to address this issue. Also one of the two plywood decks on this skateboard was not strong enough to support my 175 lb body weight without bending to the point where it wasn't safe to ride. The other board did bend but not as bad, about half the distance (from straight position to the maximum bending position) of the other board. A warning label comes with the board and states maximum user weight 220 lbs. I would not recommend this board for anyone over maybe 120 lbs. The boards rough surface is well done for an entry level skateboard. The aluminum alloy trucks are well made and the wheels and bearings seem good quality for an entry level skateboard. The metal screws and vinyl lock nuts are painted black and are not stainless steel so will eventually rust in coastal outdoors regions. The board deck itself is not well made and might not be safe for user's over 120 lbs. The other components are safe and will work well for entry level use. I would not recommend this skateboard for adults over 18 years of age. The price seems okay for that under age group but you may get one with some minor damage, so don't be surprised. ... show more

  • Great Enrty-Level Complete Board Great Enrty-Level Complete Board
This is a great entry-level, complete longboard at a great price. With a decent, 8-ply Maple deck decorated in full Element branding (both bottom graphic and top grip tape), it's a nice-looking board. The deck itself is rated to hold a rider with a maximum 220lb body weight, but it felt a little spongy under my 180 lbs. As this will be used by my son, who weighs in at 120lbs soaking wet, I think it's almost perfect for him. The wheels are pretty soft, which is great at the entry-level for both ride smoothness and grip, and the aluminum trucks seem well-made and sturdy. The bearings are smooth, and have some resistance, but again, as a first board, that's great. Plenty of room to update and modify over time. The packaging is minimal, and it's relatively ready-to-go out of the box. The most time-consuming part is loosening the hardware for the trucks to get all of the shrink wrap off. It's a very lightweight board, which adds to the ease of handling. A great board for the kids to start with, or even a nice second one to keep around. Very fair pricing, and overall a great gift idea. ... show more

  • Smooth Ride! Smooth Ride!
This is a nice starter longboard. My husband has been longboarding since we were in high school, and lately he's been looking out for a good starter longboard for our teenage son. This longboard checked all of his boxes! My son played around with it and adjusted it to his liking before he and my husband took it out. They both had a blast! What was supposed to be a quick ride around the block before dinner turned into a 45-minute cruise around the whole neighborhood. My son loves it, and I love that he and his father are bonding over something other than video games and sports. Win win for me! This board is high quality, feels durable, and looks great! If you're looking for a smooth ride, look no further! ... show more
