    • No structure & doesn't secure items

The bag is a limp bag. The sides have no structure to support itself and will flop down to the size of the items inside. The side walls don't provide any bag support. There is only a SINGLE strap on the inside. If you're putting in 2 pairs of skis and 2 sets of poles, they all have to be strapped together which allows everything to rub together. There needs to be a padded divider between pairs of skis, separate straps at the top AND bottom for EACH set, which there isn't. Plus there needs to be a separate pocket or straps for the poles. Otherwise everything just floats around. Since there's no side supports or protection, any drops or throws by the baggage staff is going to be hit on the skis. (Do you trust the airline to be gentle with your bag?!) There should be more protections on the surrounds of the bag. More straps are definitely required! There is a storage bag included, but I'm not sure why. If you put in skis and poles, there isn't room for the bag, if it's packed. Guess you could stuff a coat in there, but then it's just going to get mashed against the skis. Returning this item. Many better choices out there! ... show more

I love that I was able to ship a large item (light painting tool) through the airport with this as an oversized bag. I also like that it folds up when you are done with it. However, I did not give this 5 stars simply because when my tool was in this bag it was floppy and hard to handle. I would get a 5 star if you had an insert that kept it firm on the bottom. Overall it was nice bag and survived several transfers on the plane and tool arrived safely. ... show more

    • Not enough straps inside

It’s really well made, great zippers, pockets & ski boot bag that attaches by toggles at the lower end. However there’s only one strap (that you can buckle) “inside” so everything slides & shifts around during the flight as a checked bag. A minimum of 3 strapes would be better, for 2 sets of skis & the 4 ski poles. A few loops might be nice too to attach a helmet bag & other gear to hold them in place. The 2 outside straps help to keep things in place but are hard to cinch up tight. There are lots of handles on the outside that are helpful to haul it around the checkin lines although one more in the middle on the bottom would be great. ... show more

Have used this bag twice for ski trips requiring air travel and have been very satisfied so far. The bag held 2 pairs of skis with poles (skis were 175 mm length) comfortably, with plenty of room for clothes, etc.. The bag has ample padding (I always pack my extra clothes around the skis for more padding) and many handles to help move the bag when it is not being wheeled around. I appreciated the internal strap to hold skis securely in place too. External zipper has worked well too - but only been two uses. The bag is definitely tough and has shown no signs of wear after two air travel trips (2 flights each way). Would have liked an internal padded divider to separate the two pairs of skis, but this wasn't an issue due to using my clothes as additional padding. All in all I am very satisfied with this bag so far. ... show more

    • Large enough, bit does not fit boots

It was roomy for my skis+poles, I could even just about fit my helmet. Adding a bunch of clothing in the gaps was nice. Not huge though. My boots didn't fit, and it might be tight with 2 pair of full size skis. Otherwise, good construction, and the wheels are very helpful.
