I purchased this product to eliminate buying plastic utensils. I work in two schools and many times cannot find a fork to eat with. I favor rose gold and ordered the rose gold and black set. One set for each school. The utensils are elegantly shaped and tinted. The rose gold utensil is darker than I expected (a little duller than brighter, but yet elegant looking).     • great value if you don't need chopsticks or a straw
I was looking for stainless steel utensils that I could keep at work (to avoid use of single-use plastic utensils). I specifically wanted a relatively small teaspoon to eat yogurt with. In searching on Amazon, I found many seven-piece sets that included a large serving spoon (bigger than I wanted), a fork, a knife, chopsticks, a reusable straw, a cleaning brush for the straw, and a case to store everything. I have no use for the chopsticks or the straw. This was the only set I found that was exactly what I wanted - just a knife, fork, and small spoon in a case (with the addition of a larger serving spoon that I might use occasionally for pot-lucks at work). Also, no one else at work has rose gold or black utensils, so even if I don't get them washed and back in the case immediately after I use them, I'll be able to identify them as mine. There was a small manufacturing defect on one of the teaspoons, and I was very pleased with Customer Support at Think Earth First, who issued a refund within hours of my reporting the problem, enabling me to order a replacement set at my convenience. They were also environmentally conscious in not requiring me to return the defective set. ... show more

First impression was how nice looking and heavy each set is weighing in at 219 grams per set. Knife is surprisingly sharp and will be no problem cutting through meat. Very nice case with easy-slide zipper. Ordering another set for traveling (suitcase).

Perfect gift for those who take their lunch to work and have access to a dish washing sink. It encourages a green environment with an extra personal/classy touch. The pouch the utensils are stored in make it convenient to keep them clean inside the desk or lunch box.

These are gorgeous and have a nice weight to them! The pink ones have tiny scratches all over them and the black ones have streaky paint discolorations, they work and fit in my lunch bag though! I won't buy them again but they're nice for something I already have.

    • Great set but the case is just ok.
Very sturdy and perfect for use at work instead of using plastic silverware. Case is just big enough to fit the length of the longest piece which is the knife, which has caused it to tear a small hole. Would have preferred it slightly longer so this doesn’t happen.
