The thread count is absolutely crazy comfortable. It’s so soft. I read other reviews and took a chance on purchasing King sheets at a low price. I love these sheets and so did a guest in my guest bedroom. Colors are true to the photographs. Very soft. Held up completely with washing. New King bed and had previously purchased two sets at Macys for nearly $100 with two problems: they did not fit the very deep pillow-top mattress corners and SPLIT the pockets which I had to sew up, and on the first washing, the pillow case hems unraveled. These sheets and pillow cases are well made and hold up on my bed and washing. The pockets fit my upper mattress very well. Buyer should know the fit along the edge between the head and foot pockets is slightly loose (but that is likely mattress dependent) -- would fit great if the entire fitted sheet had a bit of elastic along the sides. Also, the pillow cases have one hemmed side and one side with an open flap. These are not flaws. I will buy these sheet sets again when I need more and would not hesitate to give them as gifts. ... show more

A little background. I have been living on an Airbase in Afghanistan for 3 years. The sheets they had available were awful with polyester sheets with a thread count hovering around 300. So, I found these on Amazon. I READ the entire description. I did not want Egyptian Cotton sheets as the water used to wash everything here is extremely hot and heavily chlorinated. Authentic Egyptian Cotton sheets for a Twin size bed with a thread count of 1500 will run upwards of $250 to $500. I have seen King sized sheet sets run over $1000. I knew what I was getting. I wanted something durable, comfortable, pleasant to look at, and inexpensive. When it says "like 1500 thread count Egyptian Cotton" that is exactly what it means. This IS an imitation product meant to look and feel like the real thing at a fraction of the cost. If you bought these believing you were getting a premium Egyptian Export for less than $50 you do not need to post your frustration in the reviews. That is on you. I bought 2 sets of these and I rotate them for nearly a tenth the cost of one set of the real thing. I am still using both sets. I washed them the moment I received them. I have to be careful changing them because our bed frames are made of rough metal with sharp edges. This goes for any set of sheets. After nearly 3 years of use in Afghanistan the elastic is still strong, there is one spot of discoloration about the size of a quarter on the mattress cover, no tears that I can find, and still comfortable. These sheets do exactly what they are supposed to do and are as advertised. If you want fast, comfortable, inexpensive sheets these are for you. If you are looking for the real deal you will not find them on Amazon. You WILL have to go elsewhere. ... show more

Love these pillowcases. They are a great material. They do not wrinkle after a laundry cycle. They have a soft fill to them. Unlike a lot of other pillowcases. I’ve tried which had a papery feel. The black fades just a tad.
