  • Good product, works as intended, nothing overly exceptional
Overall, this product does exactly works exactly as intended. I have had issues with ear wax in the past and have actually spent time at the doctor trying to get it removed, so seeing this product and being able to use it at home without having to go to the doctor was a big plus. The 20 tips is a really nice touch for the ear wax remover and it was definitely the differentiation that resulted me in buying. It would've been nice to have a basin to catch the hydrogen/water mixture used to clean the ear (NOTE: I now see there is another product from the same company that offers this). It's a pretty simple design when it's all said and done and probably was pretty easy to make but it's better than going to the doctor. I would've given it 4 stars but compared to the other ear wax removers I saw on the market, the 20 tips definitely offers something no one else has at a comparable price. I will definitely be using this again. ... show more

  • Yup this works
Yup this works. I initially tried to duplicate an ear unclogging from a previous doctors visit using a very large syringe but it didnt work. I fon’t know if the nurse was using sonething different I dont remember but anyway I think the trick is the use of a small thin tip that actually goes into your ear. These types of kits work well because they have a small tip that does just that; goes further into the ear than say a syringe. And the hand pumping/ spray aspect of these kits is makes it easy and effective to get water in your ear. This kit came with lots of tips and the instructiins suggested they were one time use but all you need to do is clean it on the outside and resuse it. Obviously dont use it on other people but yourself otherwise dont reuse and throw the tips away. Where to get more tips when you run out or company goes out of business or uses different spray system I have no idea. I guess buy another kit. At $20 it well worth it compared to making apt with doc and spending $ there. ... show more

  • Relief!
Not much for writing reviews on amazon but I wanted to make sure I reached out for this product. I've struggled with ear aches for the last few years and mentioned it to a friend who recommended this product. they saw on a facebook ad and told me that I should check it out on amazon. I decided why not and gave a look and to my surprise, saw several products that all looked relatively similar. I decided eventually on this one, the Cleanse Right ear wax removal kit, because of the 20 tips it came with (most only have 4 or 5) so I wouldn't have to come back and buy more, the cost being relatively low compared to the higher reviewed offerings that looked pretty much the same and the 5 star reviews from reviews that seem like they are actually real purchasers. ... show more

  • It almost works as advertized
It really does work but I do recommend you do one thing. Let me explain it just in case you are not an electrician. In the electrical area of Home Depot there are wire Zip Ties. Buy a small bag of the 4inch size. Or you can order them with your cleaner on Amazon. Just search for “4 inch Zip Ties” and purchase the white ones. Amazon had 100ea for $2.00 with Prime. You will want to use one of these to put around the tubing that is connected to the spray bottle. This will prevent it from coming off of the spray bottle nozzle. Other reviewers have talked about this issue. They have lots of cautions about the hose coming off and spraying water on you. This really happens a lot and after it happening to my wife a third time she said she was tired of getting wet. So I just got up and went into my workshop and pick up some ZIp Ties. I put one on to hold the hose on the spray bottle. After that everything works great. Cleaned up my ears and I’m happy. I no longer have to go to the doctor to get it done. The second thing is not with the unit but with operating it or any of them. It requires you to squeeze the trigger hard and quickly. She would not or could or would not squeeze the spray trigger hard enough to any good. I do not think it is possible to puncher your eardrum with this unit but she was afraid to squeeze it hard. Being on the other end of this procedure a few times I know how hard a nurse works their squeeze bottle. So we ended up having her guide the tip and I triggered the spray bottle. Oh, and the cup that goes around your ear is better than any that I have had used on me at doctors' offices. fits better less slop and no leakage of water around it. ... show more

  • Terrible product!
No instructions. Seems cheaply made. The first time I used it, the tiny tube blew into my ear and I was afraid I would end up in ER to have it removed. Thankfully I was able to fish it out. I left it off and tried again, but the round circle piece and other small attachment blew off. I finally just used the tube connected to the spray bottle but it did nothing to help rid the blockage. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this was ridiculous. Be very careful of losing the tiny tube in your ear! ... show more

  • I'm keeping mine, But Here are some cautions to consider
Memo to Amazon: other reviews listed for this product also include reviews for a different product of similar name but a manual bottle and not electronic. Find any reviews that mention 10 tips. This product comes with 3. People in some of the reviews have said this is American made. In the video from the manufacturer it shows a thank you note for buying American. Read the wording and listen to the video carefully. It's the ear drops they are talking about, not the device. I'm certainly ok with a device made probably china, but the claim of American made borders on deceptive in my opinion. My delivered unit, 'tho sealed, came without the detailed written instructions shown in the video and mentioned in the Amazon product write up. There is a concise set of instructions on the side of the box, however... they conflict with the video. The video says use 3-5 drops of solution per ear; the box says 5-10. I realize it's going to vary, but this is just more evidence to me that those considering this device understand what they are getting. Finally, and this is the only "health ding" against the device... when you are done you are suppose to drain the remaining water through the fill hole. That certainly gets most of the water out, but some remains. If you then store the device with the plug closed... well.. I'm no biologist... but stagnant water going in your ear the next time you use it can't be a good thing. It's not much water but if you think back to high school biology to the first time you looked at water through a microscope... well.. you get the idea. I will store it with the access plug open, and file and rinse several times. I know it seems like I put this down a lot, but despite the shortcomings it still squirts water into my ear just like the doctors office. So I will keep it. ... show more

  • Worked great! Plus some details of my approach!
Prior to using this I placed Debrox Earwax removal drops in my ears twice earlier in the day, waiting for the foaming action to subside before placing more in. Then I used this device, with the peroxide added. The earwax drops may have not been needed, as the instruction have you add peroxide (which is probably the main ingredient in the ear wax drops, then again the earwax drops had glycerin too, which would have aided softening of the earwax before flushing the canal with the device). I stood in the shower and used a half bottle in each ear, alternating after about 20 squirts in each ear. I know I overdid it as per instructions, but it wasn't until about the tenth cycle that the blockage came loose. I dislodged some flat sheets of earwax about the diameter of a pencil eraser, and then a clump about the size of a ladybug from each ear! WOW what a difference it made! I can hear so much better! ... show more

  • works!
If you have a minor problem with ear wax, a bulb syringe from your CVS or a debrox kit will likely do the trick. But I had ear wax on one side so water got trapped when I showered, sometimes painful, always annoying and I'd already tried previously mentioned remedies to no avail. This kit is a little hard to get set up & get the hang of it. One problem I had was the tubing popping off when I squirted, but I quickly figured out that was from cramming the tip too far into my ear so it kinked. When I didn't go quite so far, there was no problem. And then I got some ugly looking wax out of my ears pretty atraumatically. I took a look with the otoscope I bought separately, and ear was clean. Noted some irritation, probably from prior attempts to clean wax in the meatus and a bit over the drum that I'll keep an eye on. But ear is clean, clean ,clean. Brilliant! ... show more
