I have only tested the drum pad once so far, but noticed that the "low tom" is labeled as "floor tom" on my pad. So two drums are labeled as floor tom, but the upper one is really the low tom. Not a deal breaker, but annoying. Second annoyance is that while there is a variety of styles available, there is no led number to tell which one you are choosing. So, ever time you turn it off it resets, and you must cycle through them again to try and find your preferred style. It would be better to have an led indicator so you can just go to that # next time. Same goes for the rhythm. Again, not a deal breaker, but annoying all the same. The overall size is tiny. It's half the size of the other two pads I tried. This is great if you have limited space, and due to the size, you don't need to bend it for storage. This lessens the likelihood of a short due to bent wires. It does not, however, give you a sense of a real drum setup or a blind sense as to where to hit if you upgrade later to a normal size drum pad, electric, or standard drum set. Just keep that in mind if those are your future intentions. There will be a new learning curve later.

The kit instantly grabbed my nephew’s attention with the drum sticks and ability to make music with his older sister. From opening the package to begin playing takes around a minute because of its minimalistic packaging. The sound quality is just fine for the price. Don’t expect your mind to be blown away, this is a toy for children, after all! Overall a great value and gift for kids.

I like that my 7 year old son likes this. He can drum his little heart out and have headphones on so it isn’t super loud to the rest of us in the house. There is still the sound of him hitting the pads with his drumsticks but that’s not nearly as bad as the whole drumming experience sans headphones. The thing is that this drum pad is SO much smaller than anticipated. It says it is a roll up item but honestly it is so small that I can’t see any reason why one would roll it up or really any way it could roll up given how small it is. Most of the drum circles for lack of a better word are three inches or less in diameter. So while this is flexible, I wouldn’t really describe it as roll up. It doesn’t take up a lot of space thus not necessitating any rolling up.

This is so neat how you can record your sounds. I love that it’s rechargeable and that I didn’t need to buy batteries. My nephew wanted a drum set for Christmas so I opted for this one since you can plug in headphones and he has so much fun with it. All the sounds sound real

I gave this to my 7 year old grand daughter for Christmas. The sticks are legit, but for a kid the pads are really close together and that makes it hard for them to play with any immediate gratification. If my girl wasn't the daughter of a drummer I could see her getting very frustrated within 10 minutes.
