Every time I see something like this I always think of the movie BIG where Tom Hanks is bouncing on a digital piano that is massive. Even though this is a different style (and instrument altogether) I always get excited when I get to try something like this. My son is interested in band and plays the trumpet. I figured something like this for my 5 year old would be good and less chaotic in terms of crashing/smashing cymbals. The sound quality is great and we’ve connected to both a Bluetooth speaker and a wired headset (separately). The speaker is way more entertaining. The record feature may be better served for if my son (or sons) get better but it does also help when it comes to a battle of who played it best between the two. The different settings are more than we need but a great feature. The ability to follow along with a preset beat also helps quite a bit. We did put this on an old school desk which works perfect for the setup (a desk with a fully removable seat). **I really wanted this to be what I had hoped for, but it definitely did not continue to work properly. So full or promise!** I have a grandson that plays drum and they live in a small house that does not have room for a full drum set. This thing really has great sound and so portable. I love that it came with "foot pedals". He can really practice for band with this set up. IF he and his buddies decide to get together and jam (he also plays guitar) he can take this anywhere he want's to go so easily and still have great sound. It has a recording option so I hope that at some point he decides to experiment with that. His mom really appreciates the fact that he can practice with ear phones plugged in! :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My husband likes to play the drums, but everytime he gets a drum set, it ends up getting sold. He doesn't play enough to justify taking up so much room, and I don't enjoy all the loud noise. With this electronic set. It packs away neatly into its box when not in use, and doesn't take up much space. It's not so loud that I can't stand it. He could even wear headphones while playing if I want him to. Tip - if the pedals slide around too much on a hard floor, put a small area rug under them. ... show more

So excited to give this as a Christmas gift! It is versatile so it can be used on a table top or while sitting on the floor. The drum sticks are awesome! Not cheaply made! Definitely recommend for inspiring drummer.

My daughter takes the drum set lesson for 2 months and I want to find a drum set at I home for her to practice. When I get this set, I have a doubt if this would work as it is just silicon pads. Surprisingly this silicon drum set works like the real one. It plays the different drum sound with the 9 silicon pads and it comes with the food pedal. The set also has preprogrammed music that you can play the drum part with it. And the speaker has good quality as well. So far, my daughter likes to play with it at home. ... show more
