If you have kids at home, they will love this dance mat. Its easy to use, loads of fun and has a lot of features. Hooking it up was easy, and we were exploring the many different options within minutes. The dance feature is great and I was relieved that the kids were enjoying it because frankly any activity that gets their heart rate up is better than sitting around playing with their phones! We all enjoyed the playful nature of the lights during the dance party that ensued! The dancing went on for quite a while before they discovered that there were also games built in. The games are engaging and fun, and keep the kids coming back to play with the mat more. The mat also offers a running mode. I was a bit skeptical at first because I didnt know how running in place would work. Turns out that it works quite well. We really enjoy the gamification of it as well, it makes getting exercise more enjoyable while you collect coins, and try to stay away from random monsters! Hopefully the kids will continue to use this mode as it really does get the heart rate up! The mat also has a Yoga mode, but we have yet to explore this. If you don't feel like investing in something like a Nintendo Switch to play some quick games, especially those with a dance mat or camera, this is a safe bet. Everything feels of sufficient quality but the mat itself is very sturdy and I think can take quite the beating. The included socks and mini disco ball are also great additions. The remotes connect instantly and maintain a good signal. One thing to note is that in the menus and most games, it will need to be held horizontally. The camera quality isn't the best but the detection in the games works well. It displays at 720p and the graphics aren't the best here but if you don't mind, most children won't notice it. Dancing, yoga, running, camera, and remote games are all here. Unfortunately, the option of the classic game is nowhere to be found. Maybe it's because I got the black-colored one? Or the classic games are no longer available? Either way, this is a decent package with everything you and a friend could need to play some games that get you up and moving. ... show more

I bought this dance mat as a birthday gift for my granddaughter... it was an immediate hit! Her dad set it up and she & her siblings got to dancing. They all loved it and it's been used almost daily. Very good quality & easy to set up. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I just wanted a DDR type game for my daughter because she loves it when we take her to the arcade, but this one had a lot more. I especially love the math game. If you're buying it for your kids, it needs about as much adult supervision as the MTV channel.

DDR (Dance Mat): This game takes me back to my jr high days when my friend and I would go to the local Bowling Ally to play In The Groove which was a knock off of DDR. The game itself is similiar, there are two categories of song divided by Western and Asian and there are some familar top hit songs in both categories. In Dance Mode, you can play with the traditional left, right, up down keys or make the game harder by adding an additional 2 keys you play with the hands (up left diagonal & up right diagonal). If that wasn't hard enough, you can do dual mat mode where you as one player will have to dance along both mats. The mat requires 2 AAA batteries and is wireless, which is great, it also comes with 2 pairs of non-slip socks. Turn off the lights in your room and let the RGB light up the ceiling and room to make it feel like a real dance floor! Yoga: is okay, the game guides you through various yoga poses. Running: The game lags when playing with 2 players but it does make you sweat nonetheless! My personal favorite is still the Dance Game when it comes to the dance mat. Wii: There are several games such as Ping Pong and Darts you use the joystick like you would a Wii-Stick. Camera: In the front of the console where the arrow is, press down in order to flip the camera out to play the camera games where you become the controller. NES: There are several NES games such as Mario and Contra on there, which is always nice and nostalgic. The games can be played with the Joysticks or the Dance Mat (way harder). It appears the games are stored on a memory card. It would be cool if the company had a site where we could download new songs or games and update the selection. TLDR; Fun Dance Mat with preloaded western and asian songs that comes with additional games from the NES universe. There are several games that utilizes the controllers like a Wii-Stick and games utilizing the camera where you're the controller. Dance Mat and both controllers are wireless and require 2 AAA batteries each (6 total). Turn off the light and let the RGB light fill up the room like a dance club. Overall, not a bad product with all the features, it's fun to play with. Would I recommended it? Yes, for little kids and adults and family fun! ... show more
