    • Hard to maintain humidity unless
Ok for the price this is an excellent product, two things to know. If you put tape over the small drain hole it will maintain your humidity. Second, the unit is too narrow for standard boxes. It will however fit the narrower boxes and bundles. Other than that it’s a great product for the price.

I like the product but had the first one replaced and the second one is the same. I have the set point at 70 degrees and it always cools to 63 degrees. Ambient temperature of room is 73.

I had some old cigars that a friend gifted me that we're in some dire shape. They were dried out and needed some TLC. I purchased this in addition to some propylene glycol for the included water bin and a low-cost digital humidistat. Unlike a traditional humidor, the cooler's fan and open slotted shelves allow for great air circulation and are incredibly effective. It easily maintains a constant humidity of ~72°F. The only downside is that I don't think that it can easily store 150 cigars. I would say 100 is more likely (especially if you want to be able to quickly find the one that you are looking for). I really wanted to like this product. Seemed well built and perfect for what I needed. Pretty soon after using it is when the problems with holding temperature started. I had it set on the highest temp which is 72/73 just to keep the temp range in the low 60s. Came down this morning and now it is high 50's. Over a ten degree differential from what I have it set to. Apparently using temperature setting only works if the area is hot, otherwise setting to 70+ in a room that is 68-72 degrees results in an internal humidor temperature of 62. Not what was expected. I'd recommend a nicer looking humidor without a plug unless you live in an area without ac. Seller offered refund/return, but my husband didn't want the hassle, so he just leaves it unplugged. ... show more

This unit will not hold humidity for nothing. Seasoned the unit according to the manual and have 360 gram and 60 gram 72% rh boveda pack in this tiny unit which should be enough and its as low as 67% humidity and dropping. I will most likely request a refund this thing has to have a leak.

Seller misleading the buyers. This device does not have the function of heating. The temperature never goes above 62 even ambient temps is 68. It can cool but not heat. You can not set the temperature like 70 which is ideal for cigars.
