Not a fan of having to keep the door open and wipe out the rubber gasket after each use, I also worry about how wet the detergent loading compartment stays if it's not dried out. No mold problems yet but I keep it pretty dry after I use it and keep the door open. Time will tell I guess. I love the variety of features and settings, and after just one month of use the water savings is already stark vs my top loader. My water bill was down $15 from the previous month, and almost all other water use in my house stayed the same. Pretty big difference right there, I noticed right away how my old top loader would FILL my wash sink when draining, however this only spits out about 6 inches of water into the sink. Pretty huge difference. Seems to do a nice job cleaning my clothes, overall I'm happy with this washer and feel comfortable in my purchase based on the top ratings from many other sites. ... show more

We saved loads of money(pun intended) by purchasing this through this seller on Amazon. Not only was it much cheaper for the Washing Machine itself, but the extended warranty was 25% of the cost of what we would have paid through a major local retailer(Home Depot). The shipment stated 4-6 weeks delivery and we received it in 2 weeks(From NJ to Las Vegas NV). No scratches, dents, and the delivery company even carried it upstairs next to our washroom(we did not pay for installation). All in all this was a great experience and we love the performance of the unit so far. It is quiet compared to other Front-Loaders I have used, and the stain removal is hands down the best I've seen. I have bought the machine and shipped it to Barbados, the electrical supply is 50 cycle and the machine requires a 60 cycle outlet. so I've not been able to used the machine. Can anyone suggest a transformer that will work in my country.

    • Mold, mold, mold
We ve had our Electrolux front loader for one year and 4 months. We use Affresh, once a month and leave the door open at all time when not washing. i clean the boot after a day of washing. I pulled the boot back a little farther and the whole inside near the drum is nothing but mold. 500 dollars for the part and a service call after one year of use.     • Don’t buy if you own pets
So, this is a nice machine and all. Even though I had to call service out within a few days of owning it due to the front touch panel not working. It leaks from the door (which they told me was due to debris), and now 2 years after owning it I find out there is no debris filter in it. So, now I have a service guy out here unclogging it. Don’t buy this machine if you own pets who are heavy shedders or you, yourself, is a heavy shedder. You will be threatened by the service guy to be greatly charged the next time they have to come out and clean dog hair out of the drain. ... show more
