I have purchased several standing desks since 2020/COVID since I now work full-time from home. BY FAR, this desk wins, hands down. I would recommend it to anyone seeking great quality at a great price. It was easy to assemble by myself, with the caveat that I often assemble items and enjoy it. Once assembled (1 hour) it was fully functional - no adjustments needed. The desk RISES PERFECTLY, QUIETLY, and to a pre-programmed height that is literally perfect (I am 5'6"). It takes only seconds once you hit the button for the desk to smoothly rise to a standing height. AMAZING. The width is great (not too wide) and the back shelf is perfect for my laptop and extra monitor. The only change I made was to not use the sturdy fabric baskets that came with the desk as pulling them out meant I had to move my mouse and pad or papers. Instead, I purchased two sets of adhesive drawers on Amazon and attached them to the underside of the back shelf (as shown in the last pic). Problem solved - space for my pens, notes, lip balm :), etc, with room underneath for additional items. This desk is a winner. My college-age kids each want their own, and I don't blame them. 100% recommend! ... show more

Have had now for 6 months and this desk definitely meets expectations! A lot easier to put together than it may originally seem. Took approximately 20 minutes to do. Quality is very good and the thickness while not super thick I find to be just right for the price. It moves up and down very easily and I have had no problems with the mechanics. I have just purchased and quickly received this desk. This it's my initial review and I may update it after extended use. This desk shipped fast and arrived in great condition. Be mindful that it is a heavy box- but the contents were packaged well and the instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. All of the hardware had one extra piece and both tools needed to assemble everything (an allen wrench and a phillips screwdriver) were included. I was able to assemble it myself in about an hour though the instructions do recommend two people as it is heavy - the final build feels quite solid. The motor works well with the height adjusting in a smooth, quiet, and responsive manner. I made sure to test the mechanics early in the assembly as motor replacement would require completely unassembling everything. It is beautiful and fits perfectly as it is true to is listed size. I purchased the 40" model as I was replacing a desk that was 35" with some extra space but not enough for the 48" version. I needed to assemble the desk in one room and move it to another, if you need to do this as well, be sure to measure EVERY entry way and door clearance to ensure you can maneuver the desk (again considering its weight) to where you need it. Thankfully, I was able to use furniture slides under one side while lifting the other to "glide" it between rooms. I love the second tier to elevate the monitors and the storage compartments to control clutter as these are features I wanted and needed but are not frequently found on standing desks. All in all for ~$100 this was a great buy and I hope the motor has longevity. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Love being able to sit or stand while working! Easy to put together, I told my husband I wanted to put this together and I did! It took me a whole day but that’s bc I took a lot of breaks to do other things. All in all I think it would take about 3-4hours. Very sturdy and durable and easy to figure out and work the height adjustment. And most of big enough for my laptop and 2 monitors and all my extra stuff lol ... show more

I wanted to give this desk for a stars, but then I thought about it that it wasn’t their fault that I ordered the wrong desk. I needed a desk to fit my computer tripod on in the back and didn’t fit so I gave it to my son which he was able to use for his gaming system, I order another that was able to fit the computer tripod, which worked perfectly. I think these this desk are great sturdy and it was pretty easy to assemble just following instructions and it worked out fine and they are well priced. Easy to put together and has worked great as our desk! Enough room for a screen and a laptop on the top portion and we use a keyboard and mouse on the bottom section. Very easy to adjust height and you can set presets so it will go back to the height you want for sitting and standing. Very quiet when going up and down and we've had no issues with it. ... show more
