This desk has already become a natural part of my room is very sturdy took a little bit to put together, but I did it by myself. Obviously, I recommend doing it on carpet just because of the metal and the wood parts are somewhat heavy and awkward and could damage hardwood floors. Outside of that for the price, I don’t know that you can get something better. This is completely sturdy and absolutely well thought out I enjoyed putting it together. Imagine that. They even threw in a little free gift for me that wasn’t included in the instructions but it makes my desk looks sleek and nice. I’m very happy with this desk. I bought it because of back problems and not being able to sit for very long. Assembly was easy and it’s decent quality for the price.

This is the biggest piece of crap I’ve ever not had the pleasure of putting together. The instructions are terrible. There’s too many screws and you can’t tell if you got the right one or not. I build Holmes for a living. I know how to put something together. I had another one of these, but it wasn’t two parts and the back flipping up and down. This particular item is in question as to if it even works because the back is supposed to flip it does not it just ripped out of the press board. It goes up and down fine and if they would’ve made it out of one piece and skipped the back, it would’ve been great, but they didn’t. And here’s the thing you can’t just get a hold of them. You gotta send it back to China. One lady said she cost her $250 to return hers. I’m gonna order somebody else’s. Just don’t make my same mistake. ... show more

    • Almost 5 stars, but the instructions!
The desk itself is a solid 5-stars. The instructions and pieces for assembly are just - not good. First off, neither truly good nor bad unless you are a senior living by yourself: this thing is Heavy! Be forewarned about that. The assembly aspect: man, so many parts. Be prepared to take a full day getting it put together. The screws that made up the bulk of the assembly were oddly of varying size. When I began to put the very first screw in, it would not fit through the piece it needed to go through. I took a second look at all of the screws (#2 in the packet), and sure enough, some were longer than others, and there was 1 oddball screw that had a different sized screw head. Fortunately, they are very generous in giving extra screws, there are some places in which the shorter ones worked fine, and the longer ones worked were needed. The instructions also tell you to use an allen wrench for All of the screws. Many of the screws require a phillips screwdriver. Not a big deal, it was just weird. Lastly, the direction for part of the assembly just didn't make sense. There are 2 parts of the assembly in which you need to insert one part into another, but NOT fully tighten the screws. The wording for that is odd. If you buy this and have those same instructions, you'll know what I mean. Don't tighten the screws, they do not screw together, they are meant to slide to allow for adjustment. The good stuff: This desk is incredibly solid! The height adjustment works like a dream. I'm still working out the cable management, but I can see the way it is set up will make that a whole lot easier than with any other desk I have had. In short: Great desk, I highly recommend it, just be ready to use some critical thinking in putting it together. ... show more

    • Awful. Just awful.
Doesn’t work. Went through the brutal 3 hour setup process just to have a defective motor. Desk will raise and then gravity immediately starts lowering it again. Nowhere near the 250 lb weight capacity. I can’t even replace the motor as there is no customer support for this product. Amazon handles issues and you have to return the entire item.
