So, I bought these grinders on a whim, but now that we have them I’m surprised by how much I like just seeing them on our dinner table - they add a style and efficiency that’s more than welcome amid the (wonderful/crazy) chaos that is family dinnertime with two little people. My husband and I use the grinders almost daily, and thus far they’ve worked perfectly. We’ve yet to change the batteries that came with them. At first glance the little spice container looks small, but it can actually fit quite a bit - we’ve been using whole peppercorns and sea salt. The best part is that you can use it with just one hand by pressing the button - key when you need the other hand (or three) to catch sippy cups and keep little wiggleworms in their seats. Now that we know the grinders work well, we might get a couple as hostess gifts once we can hopefully get back to attending gatherings again, the packaging is nice and has a well designed crafty look.

For me is more comfortable to use battery operated mill instead of hand-cranked because electric mill is easy one-handed. If you’re partial to electric mills, the best of those I ever found is definitely this one. Its grinding mechanism produces consistent results with the push of a button. Mill requires 4 AA batteries, but it finely grinds my Himalayan salt and is the quietest electric model I ever met.

I bought this Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder, set of 2, as a gift for my wife for Valentine's Day. It was supposed to be a surprise but she found it earlier ( I'm a bad hider lol) so we had to celebrate 2 weeks prior lol, Long story short - she loved the gift. Happy wife - happy life! BTW, the LED light looks cool, especially when we had a dinner in the evening and stainless steel design is sleek! Highly recommend !

The plastic positional pins are very easy to break off if you ever forget that it isn't a twist off separation. The batteries are not held securely in place so I added some filler and tape, but the worst part is I went on a 6 week vacation and when I came back BOTH of the units would not grind even with fresh batteries. The light still works so I know it's getting power and the salt & pepper where removed to make sure nothing was stuck. I even tried each motor on the other base and made sure the contacts were touching the grounds. I'm an aerospace engineer and I blew 20 something bucks on these. Going back to manual as I think the torque required is too great for available battery power.

They are attractive on the counter and table, and that is about all if the goodd that I can find to say. Our first pepper grinder stopped working shortly after purchase, so I was able to return them. We had finally gotten accustomed to using them, and I liked the looks, and I ordered replacements. This was at Christmas, and the second pepper grinder has broken; the glue did not hold, and it quite literally fell apart. I definitely will NOT reorder. For $50, I would expect them to last more than 3 1/2 months. I am extremely disappointed in the quality.
