This pump wasn't great, and was overpriced for what it was. It repeatedly blew my 25amp fuse in my Jeep for the cigarette lighter/aux power port. This happened regardless of what I had the voltage set at on the unit itself or how much I had used it. I had resorted to running this off of a big backup battery/jump starter that I keep in my vehicle for emergencies to be able to use it away from my car since the power cable isn't very long and the rigid hose makes the unit unwieldy. When I was able to reach my car to inflate my two SUP boards, it blew my fuse 2 out of the 4 times I used it. When I got it, I had mistakenly thought it had an internal rechargeable battery, because in the photos it shows a battery indicator on the display. While it *does* show a battery on the display of the actual product (only for a moment when it starts up), it doesn't actually serve any purpose. There is no internal battery, and no reason for there to be a battery icon on the display. I think it's really only there to mislead people into thinking it has an internal battery. It was really frustrating to use. The hose this comes with is extremely rigid and inflexible, and made it difficult to hook up to the inflatable and not have the unit flip itself over and unplug itself from the power source. The power cable doesn't plug firmly into the pump, and comes unplugged for no reason. The cable for the 12v car charger isn't exceptionally long, and I had to be able to park in a spot directly next to a lawn in order to use the unit to inflate my boards. If I had to park somewhere with cars on either side of me and inflate in front or back of my car, the unit would only barely reach my inflatable device, making it very awkward and unwieldy. This became extremely frustrating when the unit would get unplugged and I'd have to go back into the settings again. This was compounded by the fact that the screen is next to impossible to read in the daylight (which makes no sense since you will almost always be using it in the daylight). The bag it comes with is too small to fit the unit, charging cable, attachments, and the hose since the hose is so inflexible. It will just barely squeeze everything in if you really cram it in and stretch the bag, but it feels bad to do. It's just another exercise in frustration. In all fairness, the pump did work to inflate a SUP paddleboard. It took about 10 minutes per board to inflate. This still beat trying to inflate the boards by hand, but not by much. I would start to inflate my boards, they would puff up and shift the hose, the inflexible hose would jostle the pump and cause it to unplug, then I'd have to hold the power button for a few seconds while it was unplugged to reset it (otherwise for some reason it wouldn't turn on after plugging it back in, and this isn't mentioned anywhere in any documentation the pump came with). Then I would have to struggle to see the screen in the daylight while I picked the settings over again to start up the pump once more. And then occasionally I had to replace my 25 amp fuse in my car. All of those things combined did really suck to use, but still honestly was probably less effort than hand-pumping two SUP boards to 15 psi each. The unit would be pretty hot by the time it was done inflating. One time after using it to inflate two SUP boards and a few much smaller inner tubes (which altogether accounted for less air than one additional SUP board) , the device was hot and smelled bad, but it didn't shut itself off or anything. Something like this should definitely have overheat protection, and I don't think this does. I shut it off, waited for it to cool, and it still worked after that, but then it blew my 25 amp fuse again. I couldn't trust it after that and I returned the device.

This pump made inflating our paddle board so much easier. It’s fast, powerful, and the auto shut-off is a nice feature — no more guessing when to stop. I also used it to inflate a kayak and even topped off a car tire. The deflate function is super helpful when packing up too. It plugs right into the car, so it’s great for taking to the lake or beach. Solid quality and saves a lot of time and energy!
