I am so so happy with this lunchbox. I do not have to go to a community room to use the microwave. This allows me to utilize my lunch-time to the fullest. It surprisingly has the ability to make the food super hot. It heats thick meats brilliantly. It also pays itself off quickly because I no longer have to pay $15 to $20 a day for quality food.     • Major battery problem.

The battery did not hold a charge well at all. I would charge it to 100% to prepare for future use. A few hours later it would be down to 85%. While using, ten minutes into re-heating a meal, the battery dropped all the way down to 25%. This happened both times I tried using this device. I was never able to re-heat a meal fully because of the battery dying before the meal was done. The battery lasted approximately 40 minutes each time I used it. Keep in mind that according to the app, the meals would require 70-80 minutes to re-heat, which means the battery was never able to provide the full re-heat. The product itself is really well made. I love how easy it is to clean and I love how everything can be controlled with the app. It is unfortunate that the battery died so quickly which made the device practically unusable and inefficient, especially considering the price tag. ... show more

I waited with this review, to see first whether the battery maintains capacity despite being near a heat source. It appears that it does. Originally bought it since my wife's workplace had not enough microwaves. Now she works near me and at times we have lunch together on a picknick table nearby. I love everything about this lunchbox, including the app it pairs with, except the battery life. It takes a little while to charge and then burns through the charge pretty quick. Otherwise, it may be the best electric portable lunchbox out there. I take it to work daily and love its style and size, as well as the fact that I can reheat meats on a very low temperature. Most other portable electric lunchboxes I've seen can't reheat at 125 degrees, but this one can, which is great for reheating meat dishes. If they improve the battery, I will change the review to five stars. Still recommend though. ... show more

Purchased the Heatsbox Go and used it one time. It worked great but not longer works after one time. Amazon will not honor the two year warranty and Heatsbox will not honor the warranty either since it was purchased from Amazon. This is a neat product but DO NOT BUY!!
