Well, it works fine so far. Battery life is fine. Had it for only a few weeks and the lid/latch/top/whatever became loose. Hold it upside down and it opens nearly 3/4 of the way. Hold it right side up again after that and it won't close all the way without intervention, so I can guarantee the lighter is always a little bit open in my pocket allowing lint, dust, whatever exposure throughout the day. . . and honestly that doesn't matter to me so much as it being simply annoying that the lid has a lot of play. -1star Also, I keep it my left pocket free of keys, change, anything that could potentially scrape the finish, haven't dropped it so far, and yet the paint at the bottom has begin to chip off. -1star So, 3/5. Works. Battery is decent. Durability leaves something to be desired compared to similarly priced more traditional fuel lighters. Would probably spend $25-35 on the next if this one craps out instead of the $10-15 I spent this time just to see if I even like arc lighters to begin with. Fix the lid, replace the micro-B charge port with USB-C, and it would be a 5/5 design. ... show more

The button to activate this arc lighter is a little too close for comfort. I'm sure nothing will come of it, but I would have preferred if it was further down. The 7-second timer is also kind of annoying. I wish it was longer, even if it was just 10 seconds. Despite it shooting out literal arcs of electricity, I find that it sometimes struggles to light things on fire that are awkward in size. I have these little 1/4in incense logs that don't really work that well when being lit by this product, although I can't blame it since it's purpose is to light sticks and cigars and whatnot. ... show more
