My doctor insisted that I get a standing desk since I sit 12+ hours a day so I started searching. I found several costing $50 to $70 more than this and I frankly didn’t see much difference so I took a chance on this. However, it paid off. This 40x24 size can raise from 28” to 48”, perfect for my 6 foot frame. It came well packaged with all parts in plastic baggies and numbered. The instruction booklet is full size and easy to read. It took me 42 minutes to assemble using a manual screwdriver, would be 10 min less with a powered driver. The base is steel and feels very sturdy. The desktop is wood composite and thick enough to also be sturdy. At full height, I can lean on it without feeling any sway or instability. I love the ability to quickly raise it or lower it slowly and steadily without fear of having my heavy monitor tip or slide. The controls are simple push buttons up or down and are quiet. It also has 2 holes on the back side for cable management which I really needed. Cosmetically, it looks clean and well built. This review is based on 3 days of use and I will update it if anything changes. So far, I feel like I got a nice, sturdy powered desk at a very fair price. ... show more
