I've been buying these scrub pants for years and have 2 pairs left that aren't ratty from use. The original XL petite fit beautifully. The newer XL petite pants are smaller in the waist. They are too inconsistent and will be returned. It's sad because I loved these scrub pants. It's like they are using the large petite patter and labeling it XL. No I haven't put on weight. I've actually been working with my health care provider and have been losing weight and getting fit. The last 2 pairs have been made like this. I hold the new pants up to the old pants and there is a clear difference in the width of the waist line. Hopefully they will fix the error and make good pants again.

I've been a nurse for a while and have never had a need for pockets all the way down my thighs! They run true to size and the fabric is very nice quality. The pants are stiff around the thigh a little and I feel like I’ll rip them if I eat. The waist band has no stretch what so ever and the strings are only half way on each side they do not go all the way around the waist. I have little party in the back so the thicker parties I recommend go up at least one/two size for an easier slip on but still snug fit around the legs. I wouldn’t recommend if you are not someone who like to return it would just be a waste.
