I'm updating my review because I own 3 from this maker and they won't let me individual rate them. Crunch distortion ( so good I ordered a second for my son ) this crunch pedal and the us dream sound great. You will be surprised trust me and for the price. I was able to review that one but it brought me back to the noise gate because it's all 1 add. The roll boost is worth the money and placing it before and after your distortion both have it's advantages so I put a dis pedal before and 3 after. Price alone is worth 5 star's. 4 for the noise gate because it work's ( some people don't understand it works best all the way turned left ) that's the most effective, and clockwise to lesson. 5 stars for the crunch and roll boost. I'll buy more. There inexspensive and effective. If you have it turned all the way to the left it cut's your tone quick which can be cool when adding it to other effects. After that it becomes a noise gate. Further you turn it the more it does it's job. It's not a phaser or a delay or any effect. It gets ride of unwanted noise from distortion etc. I don't think it's getting rated fairly. It does work. I wouldn't let that from others keep you from spending the hundreds of Pennie's for it. Lol

Good distortion for a neat little $. I got this just to check quality or lack of in a (wth⁉️) $15 pedal, no way it will sound good right?. Butt, a possible backup to my Darkglass Alpha Omicron( also have the Joyo Double Thuster, which itself is a Darkglass Alpha Omega clone that doesnt sound bad for a knockoff). This compact little unit's not bad, esp for the $ if it holds up, same even if it doesnt live long. Darkglass are great but alittle pricey new, even better if u can get a decent $ for used one. This one, volume, gain and tone, no blend. Tone knob is useful, and since I'm using a Boss Line Selector to split the signal and blend dist with a clean signal its very useful for mo'control and no loss of low in parallel to clean side. Fun to explore and prolly keeping for now and update review if ne issues happen. Try it urself, its useful, explore new toys.🤘😁🤘

The media could not be loaded. Musician Vintage Phase - Holy cow is this pedal bad. It sounds like a dead parakeet is stuck inside this little box. When I first turned on the pedal I just started laughing. It makes all kinds of crazy noise. It also cuts the volume of your guitar in half and makes it sound like you are playing through a tin can. Despite that, the effect is so shallow that you can barely tell its even on if not for the terrible tone suck and mid filter going on. I know it was only $14.99 but c'mon, It is an absolute joke of a pedal.

The price is pretty cheap, but the sound isn't all that great. It sounds a bit distorted in a bad way. I don't think many people would want to keep this with their gear because of that. Other than that it functions well, it's pretty easy to use. If it weren't for the bad distortion, this would be a lot better and be a more attractive deal.
