My son loves this drum setup. I’ve never experienced patio concerts until now. Easy to assemble and very portable. Heavy duty for the beginner or the more skilled child. My 12 year old was able to assemble this set without adult supervision and what I love most is the fact that it can be used loudly or silently. It even came with headphones. He loves it and so do I.

The drum set is great quality, but the instructions are absolutely horrible. We got this for our 4 year old grandson who loves playing drums and we loved the height and size adjustability, but the included headphones are much too large for him. We will be ordering him drum speakers to use instead. We did find the drums to have accurate and timely response. Price point is great, and we would recommend.

I bought this Melody electric drum kit for my kid, and it has been a great purchase. The setup was straightforward, and the foldable design saves a lot of space when not in use. The included throne, headphones, and drum sticks made it ready to play right out of the box. My child loves the variety of sounds and drum kits, and the 10” cymbals feel responsive for beginner practice. Wow for the price this drum set is incredible and it delivers on the sound without shaking the house. Every piece in this kit is very well made and stand solid when put together. You get a pair of light 5A drum sticks, great sounding headphones to monitor your playing and a very well made throne. There is no latency and the drums and cymbals are velocity sensitive so if you strike the pads from soft to hard the sound volume will react in turn. The pads bounce back when struck feel just like a real drum which will get beginners skilled to the next level of playing drums. The drum sounds are equal and just as good as found in other sets, there is no noise but the pure sound of the drums and cymbals. When setting up make sure that the drums are at a good distance apart not to pick up the vibration from the adjacent pads an trigger a second sound, this happens with all drum kits so be mindful of it during your setup. The Umelody drum kit is not just for beginners because it’s USB Midi can connect to a computer and be used with music software for creating. All in all this is an excellent kit ready to perform.
