I purchased this desk after reading the other reviews about it. It came in about a week after ordering in one large, heavy box. I was dreading opening it up and seeing all the pieces and diving into the instructions. I was pleasantly surprised, as everything was neatly labeled parts-wise and components-wise. There were 10 step-by-step illustrated instructions to put it together. My fiance and I jumped in and had it done in an hour. I have two 28 inch monitors on it and they fit great, plus room for my keyboard. The raising and lowering mechanism is quiet. This desk is great - worth every penny! It was not difficult to assemble, and it is decently stable when extended for standing. It raises and lowers quietly, and the pre-sets are really simple. I am 6 ft tall, and it easily extends to my needed height. I couldn’t imagine working from home without this desk.     • It is not a one piece top!

The pictures make it seem like the top is one piece but it is not. It comes with 3, 3 prong connections but it takes up 2. The paint is cheap and the edges of the top pieces look like they are peeling but they haven't. Looks cheap. Why 4 stars then? Bang for your buck! It gets the job done and it gets it done well! It swings a bit at full height but its not an issue. I have 2 screens, a laptop, and a few other things on it and it works just fine. Doesn't struggle at all to rise. Presets work and are easy to program. The big mouse pad is nice and I have washed it a few times in the washer with my clothes. No issues at all. ... show more

I watched the video on line for assembly prior to purchasing. Thought it would be very simple. It's not as simple as the video portrays, although after a couple of redos, it came out fine. I have to say I am impressed. It looks good, works great.

    • Level gets off track easily

Sturdy desk for the price. When lifting it does not level like it should without manual pulling one side up whole pressing the button to level it.

Only downside is this doesn’t come with a remote. I honestly wouldn’t have bought it if I had realized that. But it’s already put together and I’m not taking it apart.

    • Desk top comes in too many pieces

It is a decent adjustable desk for the price. However, the top comes in four pieces so you end up with many seams in it. It is not great if you are writing or moving a mouse across the seam. They do give you a very large mouse mat that would potentially cover the seams. However, at least with mine, the mouse mat was creased in the box and the crease didn't come out after a few weeks of laying it flat. I gave up and threw it away. Also, if you use the wheels, the desk is pretty high even at its lowest point. Maybe I need to switch to the non-movable feet to allow it to lower an inch or two. Not looking forward to that because I would have to demount my monitor because the wheels were pretty fidgety to get in. It was a great price, but now I am thinking I want to get a replacement top, and would have ended up cheaper to just get one with a solid top to begin with. ... show more
