In the early 2000’s my dad was in the big Nyc blackout and luckily his old BlackBerry at that time survived a few days without charging. These days I don’t think our smartphones are up to that 🔋 level of toughness. Ahh the good ole days. I wanted to have a high quality solar charger for when I travel especially to the places I plan to go Europe, and the high end parts of the Middle East and Asia. Reguardless of the places being modern I don’t want to take the chance of loosing phone battery for power issue reason, after all we live in an imperfect world. The instructions come only in Japanese but honestly this unit is really simple to figure out. It uses a USB-A then you plug it in put it in the sun and off you go. It does not contain a battery cell with it you need to buy one separately if you want one which I did from this brand and that unit is beyond great as well. I got the 2 cell because it’s small and flat enough to fit in a suitcase. I highly recommend this over other brands, don’t be nervous to try it despite all the foreign reviews and instructions this is a much better option then cheap Chinese fly by night brands.
