These dishes look EXACTLY like the picture in the listing so I did not bother to take a photo. They are gorgeous. Some people may feel they are a little on the small side, but I put one on top of my current dishes and they are the same size. I bought the 6-piece dishes only set to see if they were really as nice as they looked. Since I love them, I then called ELAMA (manufacturer) to see if I could purchase individual bowls & salad plates. I cannot. Then I asked if I could purchase individual solid red bowls and salad plates like what comes with what appears to be a solid red set with same bronze edges. Cannot do that either. But here is a bit of interesting info, the Customer Rep said the solid red set with the bronze edging is also speckled, it is just not as pronounced as with the 6-piece dishes only sets. Even though it clearly looks solid red with no black speckles on the listing! If you enlarge the picture you will see very faint speckling around the outside. The rep said all of the red Elama "Regency" sets have different amounts of speckling. I guess the 6-piece dishes only sets just happen to have more and very pronounced speckling. Any way, if I had know that before buying the dishes only I would have just bought the full set. Thought others might think so too. ... show more

I love the look!! Came quick! Look exactly how they are in the photo and no issues with them chipping from uses. One did come chipped and company has not replied.

The plates arrived well packed in three separate boxes. No damage. The plates themselves are striking. They seem very well made. The patterns are consistently random. Really happy with this purchase!
