I got these pjs to wear while in the hospital and and back home recovering after my baby is born. I am currently 8 + months pregnant and 2 weeks away from my due date. Pre pregnancy I was 118lbs measurements 34-25-38. I now weigh about 140lbs. I am on the smaller size for being as pregnant as I currently am, my belly measurements are smaller than the average when I go for my dr visits. The size small fits me now but the waist band is fully stretched over my belly and feels a tad tight. However, The size small will be perfect for right after I give birth. I really like that the waist band can be adjusted tighter too. If my belly got any bigger and I wanted to wear it right now I would go with a medium for more comfort at the waist band. But seeing as I only have 12 days left I’m going to stick with what will fit better after birth. The material is soft and thin. Perfect for those warm Hospital rooms but isn’t see through. The ruching are the sides of the top make the pjs look a lot more flattering then a lot of maternity clothes out there. What I really like is that the nursing part of the shirt is very discrete. It doesn’t look like a nursing top because the flap openings are at the sides and not underneath the bust. This set also works great for just lounging around the house. They don’t look like traditional pjs and I plan on wearing these a lot. So far they’ve washed and dried well too ! If your in between sizes, and want comfort especially at the waist I would size up. After all, the waist band can always be made tighter. I love that these come in so many different colors too! I plan on getting more !

The material is very comfortable and it is easy to breast-feed or pump with this shirt. The neck line comes down to accentuate the chest a little bit. The length of the shirt covers a postpartum belly. I don’t typically wear the shorts with it, but those are a wider leg and not very adhering to the body And a little bit on the shorter side, but also very comfortable material like the top.

The fabric of this set is very soft but the structure of the shorts are not made for maternity or immediate post-partum wear (seam down middle, sized for non-pregnant people, waistband that would chafe right on C-section scars). The shirt is high quality though and works well for nursing though you definitely still have to wear a nursing bra to bed underneath it, so there are a ton of layers of fabric to wrestle with in the middle of the night. I'd almost prefer to just wear this shirt out and stick with a simple nursing tank for night time. I'll be keeping the set because I can see them being useful further on in my post partum recovery but they are not great for sleeping maternity/immediate post partum.

I had recently gave birth (C-section) and needed something simple to wear after wearing those hospital gowns. The shorts were a little big which I didn’t mind because they are stretchy and they go over my now (saggy :/) belly but it also is big enough to go over my scar that still isn’t healed. The shirt was perfect for breast feeding as well, although now that I think of it, I may have left it at the hospital because I haven’t been able to find it for two weeks. It’s very comfy! Definitely worth the buy!
