These knit style lounge sets are ALL the rage And for good reason. They are incredibly easy and versatile. They are easy to dress up or dress down, and comfortable and easy to clean. This one in particular is a lovely gray color. I would call it a “dove gray”. It is soft, it’s not too heavy weight wise, and it is not particularly fussy when it comes to washing and drying it. Although it is prone to wrinkles, so be careful how you store it. As somebody who is considered “plus sized “ I wear 2xl (sometimes XL) Buying items like this can be very hit or miss. Depending on your body shape and how you carry your weight, they might not be particularly comfy- (BUT wear whatever makes you feel beautiful) I am short (5”2) & considered round/apple shaped. Usually when I purchase a set like this the pants are way too long, this pair of pants in particular does not have that problem. I love that there is an elastic around the bottom of the pants that gives it a little bit of shape and style. The waistband is comfortable, and I am able to pull it up or keep it at my natural waist, depending on what type of top I’m wearing. And there are pockets! For the top, it is a “mock turtleneck” style but it does not feel choking or uncomfortable around my neck. And it’s surprisingly flattering. It does not accentuate my double chin. The sleeves are not totally sleeveless, i.e. tank top style Just enough length to be comfortable and flattering without “cutting” into any extra skin. The shirt fits nicely across my chest, and the material has just enough stretch that it’s flattering not too tight or baggy. There is a small pocket on the chest, I could do without that, but it is what it is. The cut of the shirt: I usually prefer shirts to cover my stomach area. This one is not a crop top, but it’s not covering my backside/waist area either. But, it does not look misshapen on my body type. If you are NOT comfortable showing off your stomach/hips/booty, you will not be comfortable in this shirt. Personally, I’m not comfortable showing off these areas, so for me, I would not wear this top all by itself. I have a crisp cotton button-down that I wear over it and it looks lovely knotted at the waist, or even left open with the sleeves rolled up. I styled it with a lovely denim jacket and got compliments throughout the night. I love is the versatility of this outfit. You can wear the pants with a different shirt altogether, the same goes for the shirt as well. I am happy with the quality of this set. The stitching is strong and sturdy and it’s easy to throw in the washer/dryer. Although I do suggest gentle. If you go to the laundromat, like I do, definitely pay attention to the dryer settings.

The pants were too short. I’m 5’7”. Waist band was uncomfortably tight. Top was just okay. The neck was tight and everything was loose with no shape. Had a hard time getting the wrinkles out. I put in dryer with some wrinkle release spray, a dryer sheet and damp wash cloth for 20 mins and that didn’t help. I used a professional steamer and then an iron, didn’t help much.

I am 5 feet 2 1/2 inches tall and usually wear a six and sometimes at four. (I am curvy with hips/thighs/bottom, 36D .) the material is lightweight. The shirt is more of a spring:summer knit. The pants are lightweight and hard tapered band around the ankle. It was just too big for me. I purchased a medium, but could actually go down to a small the material does have some give to it and I felt overtime. The medium would stretch out even more. I’m returning it but going down to size. I got it in the deep blue. It’s a beautiful color and will look good with neutral, color, sandals, and silver or even gold jewelry or shoes.
