I bought this to stay at the hospital with my husband during his cancer treatments. We would spend a few days at the hospital at a time. This cotton is so soft, they are easy to use the restroom with, not too heavy or too light. They were bigger than I needed but it worked out still. I love the pockets and everyone complimented me when I was in and out of the hospital. Did not shrink after washing either! They have nice wide legs, they were a little bit short for my taste but it was not something that would keep me from wearing them. These would be great for studying, sick days, traveling (especially by plane) or just lounging! I’d wear them just about anywhere casual. I got this for an upcoming cruise but have already worn it three times. It is soooo comfortable. I am short (5'0") and needed to adjust the straps. With them reigned in a bit, it comes just below my ankle so I can wear it with flat sandals. I like the wide legs really appreciate the functional pockets (deep enough for a phone/wallet). The fabric is a cottony knit. Like a medium weight t-shirt. It drapes nicely and stretches to allow easy movement. It also does not wrinkle.
