It's cute. I like that the strings feel like wire that can be strummed even though they dont produce any kind of notes...but the best part is that the handle can be pushed down for a more compact storage. That being said, it's the same 2 songs that will prob make you go as crazy as it makes me lol and it's not something that my daughter gravitates to after the initial barbie excitement wore off. I'd recommend going with a toy ukulele or something that actually inmates strumming, many of the popular brands/themes have one (paw patrol, minnie mouse, etc)

So I ordered this mainly for my daughter and nieces to play with, ages 2 to 9 yrs old, it’s mainly the younger ones that love to play with this. The guitar is a decent size. The quality of it is good, it’s well made, with sturdy, durable materials. It will last through a lot of play and possible drops. I also love the extendable neck. Helps to save space when putting it away. Looks cool, works as it should. I like they included the batteries for it. However, only issuesI found were mainly: the songs it plays-most children (Barbie fans or not) will not know them. But it’s still fun to play along with. And the other issue- NO volume control. I searched EVERYWHERE on this guitar, the box, directions, etc. and still have not found it. While the sounds/music is clear and sounds good, it is a bit loud at times. Other than that, it’s a cool guitar toy for girls and will make an awesome gift!

The media could not be loaded. I would've loved this guitar toy when I was little. It's very upbeat and fun. It doesn't play like a real guitar, but it is very interactive and stimulating. The neck can be extended. Just about any little girl will love this, especially Barbie fans.

This is some garbage, you can even play this guitar, you don’t know this until you fight to remove it from the package and extend the neck and bam, reality shows that this isn’t a playable guitar. This is not a playable guitar, don’t waste your money if your child really wants to play the guitar

Gave this to my 6 year old for Christmas...she loves music and has been longing for a guitar and to learn how to play. No this isn't going to teach her how to play an instrument but it does introduce her to the guitar and has a good design including a strap for her to wear the guitar. The Barbie singing can be a bit annoying but you can change it to just the guitar sounds for her to strum it. Overall she really loved this and it would make a great gift for any music-loving child. Recommend!
