If you are looking for some cute shutters these will work well. I recently redid the outside of my home and these look nice. The pros are that they are a reasonable price with a quality that matches. Cons: they are kind of thin and if you dont put the screws in correctly they can look like they are sort of bending in the sun. There are no predrilled holes. This could be good if you are trying to match up with exiting holes in your home. If you are adding shutters for the first time you will have to figure out where to drill the holes. I updated my faded burgundy shutters (up 18 years). These look great and super easy to install. Before and after picks. Wish I could install om the large window too but note enough room by the porch rail.

They are cute. Kind on the cheap side though but for the price I paid for them I made them work. Spray painted them white since they came as black for the price. Easy to spray paint. Not so easy to install on masonite siding though.

The shutters are paintable as described. But they are not vinyl, the are hard plastic. If my wife had not of started painting them I would have returned them. They will not hold up in the direct sunlight where I live with no shade. I am very disappointed in the description of these. It is my fault and I will be out of $200.00 but live and learn. ... show more
