This is one comfy nightgown. The fabric is warm and cozy. The color is the loveliest lightest blue. It is generously sized, but within reasonable limits. There is one small problem, which is really not very serious. At the top of the neck there are two 1/8 by 12 inches ribbons. Its purpose is to make a bow. Boy, it is difficult to find flannel nightgowns nowadays! I know that Eileen West makes quality products, and there it was, a flannel nightgown. I was excited to order and receive it -- but not so excited once it arrived. The fabric is fantastic cotton flannel -- nice and soft and heavy, as cotton flannel should be. But, I ordered a medium and it is ginormous! I'd trade it for a small but -- here's the rub -- the sleeves on the medium are too short. So, what would the sleeves be like on a small? I assume, even shorter? Because they are too short, they feel weird and uncomfortable. The other thing that I didn't like is the ruffle around the bottom. If there wasn't so much fabric to this nightgown (as I said, it's very big), it would probably be okay. But, being as big as it is, then with this large ruffle around the bottom, it really looks big on me. I think that the sleeves were the biggest problem. I imagine that after washing and drying the nightgown, it would probably shrink a little and not seem so big. But, then, the sleeves would also shrink and be even shorter than they are now. I have been looking for a light weight flannel nightgown that is 100% cotton. This one seemed to fit the bill, but the sleeves are too short and the material a little heavier than I had hoped. It is a reasonably good nightgown but missed a top rating.
