This is hands-down the best cleanser I've ever used. I'm picky about formulas and ingredients, and this one checks the boxes. This cleanser removes all of my makeup the first time while still being gentle enough not to irritate my skin in the process. I switched to Eight Saints after being a loyal user of another brand with hyaluronic acid, but my previous cleanser always left some makeup behind. The Eight Saints cleanser leaves my skin completely clean without that "tight" feeling and without drying it out. When I follow up with the Right Saints toner, my cotton round is always clean. Every now and then I do need to use some coconut oil to remove the last trace of my eye makeup, but not often. The formula is not too thick or thin, and the scent is pleasant. I typically avoid fragrance in my products, but the light, natural, citrus scent disappears after rinsing and really invigorates me. It smells so good to me! One thing I do not like is the packaging. I find the tube awkward to hold and pump. I typically use 3-5 pumps of this cleanser every time I wash my face, and I cringe a little at the thought of my supply disappearing quickly. However, I think part of that is just habit and I probably don't need to use quite as much as I do each time. The formula doesn't suds up as much as other cleansers, which is fine, but if you're switching from something pretty bubbly, you may think you need to use more to obtain a similar effect. On days I don't have makeup on, I use 2 pumps and my skin feels very clean. Overall, I love this cleanser and look forward to treating my skin with kindness each night. I've seen improvement in my skin texture, redness, and dryness after using this cleanser consistently and will be a buyer for life!

I am glad to discover Eight Saints gel cleanser. It has a light citrus smell and is smooth and creamy. I would never guess that it has mud in it. It does not irritate my sensitive skin and doesn’t dry it out. My skin feels soft and smooth after using. The price is reasonable for the quality and quantity. Less than a pea size amount is plenty. I also got the trial kit from Eight Saint’s website to try out their other facial products and am very pleased with them all.

I have been diligent in trying to take great care of my skin since the age of 13. I have used many name brands thru the years, however my focus was not about the list of ingredients. I never had an issue of my skin rejecting the products I was using thru the decades. Fast forward to my 50’s a line that I had used for a couple of years without issue changed overnight. I continued using the line thinking it was a fluke until I saw my doctor in which he wrote me a steroid cream prescription. After using for awhile it helped to heal the rash, however I knew it was time to find a skincare line that was focused on ingredients that would be gentle and naturally sourced, not chemically bound. In my search I came across EIGHT SAINTS and was intrigued with the idea of a MUD GEL CLEANSER. I read up on the product, the reviews, and the price point not sky high all really caught my attention. Along with having natural ingredients that are formulated in being gentle enough for twice daily face washing. This sounded like a product definitely worth trying. ! I found the cleanser’s aroma to be peacefully pleasant, not overbearing in any way. The texture is gel like until it is swirled around with a tad of water creating a milky white wash that is easy to use. After using my skin felt soft, clean, hydrated and nourished. After using for a bit my fine lines had softened looking less prominent while my skin has morphed into a more radiant glow than ever before. I adore the positive transformation of my skin…. !!! I first discovered Eight Saints when i tried the discovery kit. I literally loved every. single. product. I have problem skin - prone to breakouts, bumps, enlarged pores and redness. At 37, just finding something to help and not make it worse has been tough. I decided to try the Down to Earth Mud Gel Face Wash in full size and i wasn't disappointed. It noticeably cleaned old gunk out of my pores (I'm a mom with 2 kids constantly touching my face) without being too rough. My skin is rather sensitive and i was really excited that i had no redness after using it in the shower, too. Best of all, it's got no dyes or artificial fragrance and none of the yucky ingredients so much of our skincare products have these days. It's not a miracle product. It didn't magically transform my skin, but it's a product that feels good to use AND i can feel good about using! After just a week of using it, my skin feels less angry and like it's on the mend.
