Good for kids, picnics, RVing and camping. Lightweight and sturdy, easy handwash. The sizes are good, and they are nice looking, sturdy and also lightweight. Being white I was inspired to try writing on a couple of them with permanent marker. The cool thing is that it works (temporarily) and even after some time it can be WIPED OFF with an alcohol wipe. Think dry erase cup that doesn't transfer. A really fun way for kids to identify their cups and be creative (as long as they are good with permanent markers ha!) and just not putting the ink up where the mouth will go when drinking. Or a grownup can write names on them. Whether writing them on them or not, this is a good product. Good value and no odors or scratches. Got the white and the color is correct.

I have grow to absolutely love these plates not just for informal parties and get to togethers but also for everyday use! Originally, I ordered these for a birthday party that I was hosting because I wanted something nicer than paper plates but didn't have enough regular dishes to cover the amount of people at the party. Needless to say, I was super happy with the quality and how well these hold up. They do develop scratches on them if you use a sharp knife on them... but that was expected. I love these so much I started using them for my every day use for both me and my dog's food/water. Beyond that... they actually look pretty nice for what they are!

We got this set mainly for our young children (toddlers) to use so we don’t have to worry about them accidentally breaking our ceramic/glass dishes when they clear the table and carry their dishes to the kitchen or empty the dishwasher. The pieces are very lightweight (feels like plastic) and easy for kids to carry. They have held up well so far after a few cycles in dishwasher except for one plate that warped in dishwasher when it some how shifted under a heavy metal pan that smashed against it (our fault for not being more careful when loading the dishwasher). We do not intend to microwave these dishes, out of an abundance of caution. The bowls are on the smaller side, good for cereal and overnight oats or an adult trying to do portion control, but not big enough to fit an adult’s full lunch/dinner. The weak point is the utensils. The fork tines bend when trying to spear certain firmer vegetables or fruit, and we were afraid they might crack. The knife also bends when trying to scoop out thicker spreads like jam or Nutella. The utensil handles are very smooth, and the knife in particular is very slippery against the edge of the plate and kept slipping into the plate when propped on the edge of the plate, getting food/oil on the handle. The serrations on the knife are adequate to comfortably cut through chicken, beef, and apples. No scrape markings were left on the plate with either the wheat straw knife or a conventional metal knife. Overall, we plan to use the bowls and plates regularly at home for our kids with conventional metal utensils. We will bring the whole wheat straw set including the lighter weight utensils with us when traveling to the hotel/resort where we plan to order take out food and eat in the room.

I bought these for a young mother of two. Her children are ages two and five. She loved them. She says they are great and do not break. She has put them in the microwave and she said they worked fine. She washes in my hand, but she thinks I do OK in the dishwasher. I think they’re great value.
