I was able to unbox and place the vacuumed sealed mattress on my platform bed alone. I used a small luggage carrier with wheels to roll the 78 lb. box into my bedroom. Getting the bed out of the box was the hardest part, and I had to cut the box apart to free the mattress. I struggled a bit getting the mattress onto the bed and soon realized the mattress was folded in half (I had thought they had shipped me a twin from the size while still vacuumed). Not a single piece of paperwork was included or a cutter (fortunately, I have several letter openers, so I used one). The mattress made a sucking air noise as it filled up once I opened the thick plastic it was wrapped in. It expanded quickly and evenly. No smells were evident. Nice cover. I researched info on many mattresses and looked through hundreds of reviews before deciding on this one. I wanted made in the USA and this was it. I left the mattress alone all day to do its expanding of 12 hours. Before going to bed I placed my mattress protector on and then all my bedding. I was actually afraid to go to bed that night as I was afraid I'd be disappointed. I was not disappointed. Although it's firm, there is softness as well (the hybrid part I suppose). I haven't slept all night in several years and hardly sleep late or past 5am. I'm a retired lady of 66 yrs and have no reason to be awake at 5 am any longer. Tonight will be the second night I'll be on this mattress and I hope this night will be as good as the first. I slept all night rising just before 8am! I rolled out of bed and was able to stand up straight as well without a painful stiff lower back! Hoorah!!! The reviews I had read before purchasing this mattress were informative and so helpful. I will update in a few weeks, but I think I've got the perfect mattress. Thank you EGO.

This has got to be the best mattress I’ve bought. Have had back problems for a long time. Once I started sleeping on this mattress, my back aches went away. It’s has a medium/soft material. Mattress doesn’t get hot while sleeping on it, like a regular one. Great value for the money. If I ever need another mattress I’ll buy one of these for sure.

I have had this mattress for about half a year and it's been great! Very comfortable and did not have a smell when it came which is always a plus. For a cheap mattress it is very much worth your money, best sleep i have gotten in a long time.

Don't give up on this mattress! The firmness is a farce! It's actually quite soft and you'll slowly sink into it, you'll hardly notice that you are, even my dogs love it!

I ordered this one because I already have a MLily king size mattress and I wanted something similar. Hard to do in person or online. Arrived early. Actually before we did because I ordered it for a second "home". Created a little bit of a problem. New base also. Mattress opened easily and was fully expanded very quickly. No smell either.

I have a 800$ mattress that I purchased from a furniture store. This one feels better than my more expensive mattress. Very very pleased with this mattress. It feels cool, and is very comfortable. It is on the firmer side, which is what I like. Great quality for the money.

I’ve been sleeping on it for a week now. It’s quite comfortable. I bought a Medium and I’d say it’s a bit more firm than I expected so you might keep that in mind when ordering. The shipment was fast. The mattress unpacked easily. It expanded from its compressed stated in less than a minute. There is no drooping anywhere in the mattress. The upholstery on top could probably be slightly stronger but this is a minor detail. All in all, we are quite happy with it.
