My progressives are worthless while working on my computer. My cheap, Walmart readers work, but are really better for reading than computer work. I took a chance on these. I did the little on-line vision test (on my computer screen) to determine the best magnification for that specific purpose. And I was amazed the first time I tried them! I thought the readers worked fine, but things are SO MUCH more clear with these. (I think the readers are a slightly higher magnification for closer viewing.)     • Great fit and finish, but issues with the nosepads falling out.

Optical quality and fit are fantastic. However, there's a problem with the nosepads - the screws easily slide out of them after awhile, since they don't seem to thread properly. I used a tiny dab of clear silicon cement to hold the screws in place. Every single pair did the same thing.

Immediately following cataract surgery, I bought myself a couple of pairs of low-cost, plastic reading glasses. After an hour or two with the plastic framed glasses, I ordered these metal-framed reading glasses on Amazon. The joints on the plastic framed glasses became loose almost immediately, and the lenses themselves scratched or smudged just as fast. It took over two weeks for the EFE metal framed reading glasses to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The EFE frames are solid, the joints move easily without slipping/twisting, and they sit nice and tight (not in a uncomfortable way) on my nose rather than sliding down my face when I lean over. I had to wait a month to receive these as i wanted an all Black pack. Luckily they had them in stock at a decent price so i decided to take a chance. These are better than expected, very lightweight and wide enough lenses for a larger face. I would have preferred anti blue light lenses but since they look great on i am willing to sacrifice. I absolutely love these glasses. However, I'm really scared to buy them again because they were so poorly packaged, it was a complete miracle they didn't fall out of the box during transit. There was NO, ZERO, ZILCH, NOTTA one tiny bit of tape to hold the lid of the box down. It was just flapping wide open, and I cannot figure out how all my glasses made it to me. There was nothing stopping them from falling right out. I love my new glasses, but if I ever order again, will they even make it into my mailbox?
