So I have the River 3 Plus, but really wanted this extra battery to give it more time! This extra battery is so easy to connect to the main device. Just remove the rubber covers on both the River 3 and also this extra battery to reveal the connection and just set the River 3 on top of the battery. You don’t need any cable which is GREAT NEWS!! I like that they did provide a USB C port that you can use without the actual River 3 unit (usually not part of extra batteries in the EcoFlow devices). Has a light strip to give you the charge level which is a unique way of presenting. Love the connection and portability of this EB. Definitely glad I decided to grab one!

works great but changes the lowest wattage you can use without it turning off the ac outlets. Had to add more electronic equipment to keep it from shutting off the outlets. Customer support says higher than 30+ watts it should stay on.

This battery is a fantastic upgrade to the River 3+ and it's been worth every penny. Super cool I can charge it independently of the main unit through a 140W USB-C too and can be used as a stand alone unit. I'll mainly use this for camping as it can easily run a mini fridge for a week straight with this battery attachement. Build quality is stellar and it fits like a glove with zero wiggle or movement of any kind onto the River 3+. I'm stoked. EF knocked this one out of the park.
