This is a pretty table cloth that does hold up to the water resistance. It washes well -- I do choose the washer option rather than hand washing, but it seems to be fine with that. It comes out well and as long as I remove it from the dryer promptly, it stays mostly unwrinkled so that I don't have to iron it. It is somewhat thinner than I prefer, but because of the water resistance the thinness isn't as big of a deal. It protects the table the same way a thicker tablecloth might. It is a bit slick, so it will slide if the dishes atop it don't provide some weight. We have a lazy Susan that sits in the middle of our table, and that provides enough weight to keep the tablecloth in place. Because its color goes well with our nicer dishes, we tend to save this table cloth for special occasions. So, it doesn't get everyday wear like the rest of our cloths do, which means I can't speak to the durability of this table cloth. But it works well for our purposes. ... show more

I received this tablecloth a couple days ago and have had it on my table for a bit now. It is still pretty creased from being folded up in the package. I think the overhang on my table is a good length and seems pretty even around it. One thing I notice is that it is slippery on the tabletop. It might be useful at some point to put a piece of non-slip rug grip or something under it. I have not spilled liquid on it yet so I can't speak to its waterproofness. ... show more

I did a quick test on water resistance. The result is satisfied. See the photo I attached. It’s not wrinkle free although. But I think the wrinkles would be gone once I wash it. Overall, I like it very much. The color is exactly what I want.

This table cloth is an upgrade from the cheap plastic table cloths I get at the grocery store. I like the gray color and the style overall. It is not 100% waterproof, but if you immediately clean up a spill, it won't soak through. I still feel better using a plastic table cloth underneath as an extra layer of protection. I like that this cloth cover drapes pretty easily over the table right out of the bag without stiff seams. The water proof coating works well and able to hold off a pretty good amount of liquid. my only complaint is that this cover is really thin, and ALMOST feels like one of those cheap disposable table cloth covers for parties. ... show more
