Don't even know where to begin. I will start by saying this. I own about 7 different helmets, a couple of them having bluteooth capabilities. I originally bought this helmet for the overall look of it, and I wanted to add a bluteooth/camera feature. The price of this helmet was a no brainer, and I figured if I tore it up modifying it, it wouldn't be too big of a deal. Well, after all of the modifying, it looked even better than expected. And then I put it to the ultimate test, the over 80 mph feature. I must say, with the exception of my shoie, this is the quietest helmet that I have ever owned. The feel of it is awesome, and there is no back drag. Its also not heavy at all. I ordered some earplugs to combat the wind noise, and I have not even opened the package on them yet. I haven't felt the need to use them. The helmet is awesome. It even came with a black out shield that I have to make a special comment about. Normal black out shields can only be worn during the peak sunlight hours of the day. This can be worn even at night. I can't tell ya how they did it, but they did. You literally forget you are wearing a black out, and it does not effect your vision at all, even at night. But lets just tell ya what you really want to know. I get asked everytime I go out, "What type of helmet is that? It looks awesome". And with the modifications on it, it always turns heads, even when I'm not riding. I went to a local eatery the other day, and everyone in the building made a comment about it, even people that didn't ride. I love this helmet. ... show more

Great helmet but make sure to go to a motorcycle shop and get your correct size because I measured my head and went with a small and it was too small. The seller was awesome enough to let me do a switch to medium and it fits perfectly. I've only had this helmet for a couple of days so I can't really comment on the level of protection and I hope I won't have to either but it feels durable. It comes with two visors which is great because I ride at night and during the day. I actually had to look up a video on Youtube on how to switch the visor because I couldn't figure it out on my own and it came with no instructions and I'm kind of dumb with these things so that video helped. The only con about this helmet is there is a good amount of wind chiming (is that what you call it?). You know when you're riding at higher speeds and you can hear the wind whistle. Just a little bit but not enough to make me want to get another helmet. This helmet looks awesome and it's safe and it's a good price. We have a winner here. ... show more

Appearance: Just as good as expected. Very sleek and I have received numerous compliments on it already. Both visors that come with the helmet look great, and they aren't incredibly difficult to change. I really enjoy the matte black and the paint job looks professional. 5/5 stars Quality- Good...for the price. There are small defects with the helmet that I noticed. As soon as I unboxed it, a plastic cover fell off of the quick release strap. This piece missing does not compromise the safety of the helmet, it's simply ascetics, so I'm not concerened. A drop of super glue will fix it. I might not even bother, it's hardly noticeable. There is plenty of air flow with this helmet. This helmet would not be suitable for cold weather. There also is a certain smell to the helmet that is still present. A "plastic-y" or a subtle chemical smell. I usually am sensitive to smells but I quickly forget about the odor after I have it on. Considering the price the materials are probably on the cheaper end. 3/5 stars Safety- Regardless of the price it cost to make this helmet, it still feels sturdy and reliable. It is also DOT approved, so I trust it with my life, literally. 4/5 stars Sizing- Go two sizes smaller than you normally would. I own an HJC helmet for dirt biking in a size Large and I ordered this one in a size medium because although DUKE measurements match my current helmet, the other reviews reccomended a size smaller. It is too big and I will have to return it. Hopefully they will let me. I will post back let you know if they do. 2/5 EDIT: I returned it and decided to get a different brand. I bought a large SPEED AND STRENGTH ss700. Im almost positive that the duke 140 is modelled after it. Take a look! Biggest pros- 1. Value. 2. Looks phenomenal. 3. Comes with extra visor. 4. The company accepted my return and gave me a full refund. Biggest cons 1. Sizing is slightly off. 3. It is a cheaper helmet because the materials are cheaper. 4. Not appropriate for cooler weather. The helmet arrived on time, was packaged with the extra visor, good looking helmet. I ordered a small and it fit a bit tight on me but I really didn't want to return the helmet and wait to order a medium (which was out of stock). So, I went ahead and contacted Duke directly, after realizing that the dimensions for the helmets are the same, the difference were the liners. I spoke to a gentleman at Duke via email (pretty fast turnaround via email) and let them know that I would specifically like to buy medium liners. I explained the situation to them and that I would not mind paying for shipping and the cost of the liners but they sent me the liners absolutely free of charge, they even FedExed it to me so that I would receive it faster. I have received it and am using it. What can I say, helmet fits great, is comfortable, not much wind noise, it looks great, haven't tested it in a crash and hope I never have to. It breathes well and the vents work well to keep your noggin nice and cool. I must say that if ever I need a second helmet, I'm not going anywhere except Duke. I am trying to be fair here as I write this review. The helmet in the first week seemed flimsy because plastic on the back of the helmet peeled off without really being handled at all. It was only a cosmetic part, which I don't care much about at all. I don't want to be that guy that compares this to a low end Shoei, but quality-wise this helmet lacks big time. I know other reviews have crash tested this helmet and I don't doubt them; however, I would not feel safe riding on my motorcycle with this helmet. I used it for my city scooter and it served its purpose.The vents don't work very well and fogging is a major problem even on a slightly cool day. Also, the visor took two people to change (maybe just mine) and does not go down all the way when I pull it by the tab. The right side doesn't go all the way down with the left side with both visors. Just one more note, the sizing chart, for me, ran large. Meaning I had to go down a size ... show more

Wiped out in it about two weeks after I bought it. My head smacked the ground face first and I literally felt nothing. When I hit, one of the air vent covers broke off, but I prefer to ride with those closed anyway so I will probably be filling them in with something. The only thing I would like to improve on this helmet would be tighter hinges. You can’t half cock the glass and ride on the highway or the interstate. It will just fall closed. Beyond that, it’s exceedingly comfortable, fairly quiet, and very solid. A good buy for the price! ... show more

Boyfriend was wrong. He said I'd never be able to find something online without trying it on. Glad he was wrong. I have a very small head. I considered getting a child sized large but this one works. Even accommodates my long hair being tucked in it. Love not having the wind rushing in my ears and the bugs in my face. Helps when riding in the rain too, lol! Cool styling. Already changed out the shield, pretty easy. Gets a bit warm when we're at a stop, but I just flip open the shield to let some air in. I would buy again ... show more
