It took me five (5) hours to assemble the unit. That's because I assembled it by myself. The instructions are very detailed and all the parts are labeled. The hardware is packed in individual bags and is labled as well. The only thing is that it didn't come with handles for the for the doors. I ordered the handles shown on the unit from Amazon. I have included a picture of the ones I selected. The best part about the handles is that it's not necessary to drill holes in the doors to install them. They have adhesive on them. Once you've figured out where you want them located on the doors, you peel off the protective covering on the adhesive and press them on the doors. I absolutely love this ! It was easy to put together. It holds our tv, playstation and the charging box for the controllers. It offers shelves for storage on the inside. It also goes with our living room(which i love). The fire place also gets very warm(not just for looks)The only thing i do not like is sometimes when sliding the doors they squeak. ... show more

I love this TV stand. To be honest, I dreaded putting it together before I even purchased it. However, everything came labeled and directions were easy to follow. It did take my husband and I about 2 hours to put together but it didn’t feel like it took that long. It’s sturdy, looks nice and I love that if something blocks the fireplace it automatically shuts off. My kids got close to it (they know not to touch) and it shut off until they backed up.
