I like to make my own soaps and I bought this because I like aloe. I mix this with tea tree essential oils and it makes a very nice smelling soap. It is easy to use - I just break it up in pieces then microwave it for a minute, take it out to stir it, then microwave it again. I keep doing this until is has completely melted. Then I add the tea tree oil, mix and pour into a mold. It makes a pretty aquamarine colored clear soap that isn't harsh on my skin. My nephew loved it so much that I had to buy more. I think it is good value for the money, too. I'm not sure it's moisturizing but it isn't drying, that's for sure.

Bought this to make home made soap. Very easy to use (I used microwave method. ) Bought amazon bee hive molds and just pour in and wait to set. Smells great, lathers beautifully and is moisturizing. Makes a great gift!

The scent is okay. No matter what you add to it it will not take that scent away though. It feels great and lathers nicely. My skin feels clean without drying. It does not last very long in the shower.

The media could not be loaded. I am brand new to soap making. I began this week. This was my first melt and pour ever. The soap came out beautiful. I added: Vitamin E oil, Oats, Honey and mica powder to mine. I have been using it for a few days now on my face and body and it’s very nice. Very kind on the skin. It melted very well and quickly leaving no clumps. I highly recommend for beginners like myself! SN: I have no fancy equipment. Just two pots, some silicon molds and sterilized kitchen utensils. So you can do it too.

This is a nice soap base for your hands or body. The smell is very nice if you like a soap with a smell that is not added in by you so you don't really know where it came from. I really prefer to add my own scents and exfoliates but I tried this on a whim. It is not a bad soap base but there is really nothing you can do to change the scent if you don't like it. I did change the color but it didn't go true to the color I added. It just seemed to mix with the color blue I added and turn to grey.
