The unit was easy to install and fit exactly where the trash compactor was. Measure your space *carefully* against the dimensions of this cooler to make sure it will fit. Also adjust the feet so the door is not leaning forward as it may not stay closed, or will open too easily. The shelving is cheap; larger bottles have trouble fitting. I bought this item to fit the cabinet where I originally had an icemaker. After it failed and was uneconomic to repair, I decided to use the space for a wine chiller. It fit exactly, and has performed as described in the spec sheet. Installation was easy, and I have had no problems at this point. This wine cooler fit nicely in the space we had. It looks nice and has kept our wine at proper temperatures. The blower on it is a little loud, but really only noticeable when there are no other sounds around, and even then it just sounds like white noise. Since we've only had it a few months, I can't speak to durability, but given the fact that it clearly was dropped and handled very roughly during shipping, and still works, it must be tough.
